This is a picture of Barnes Hospital in Greater Manchester. It looks super creepy with the fog and the dark sky. Open for ideas.

Cora's POV

Walking down Blackwood high street, I was glad that the shopping trip was over. It's not that I don't like shopping, it's just I don't like shopping with Bella. There's a big difference. She's my best friend but even I think she takes too long shopping. It was the usual shopping crowd in the shops. Girls who are going to max their parents credit cards and the guys who force themselves along with them in the vain hope of getting a date. I pity them as they'll never get that date they want. It's the way the high school hierarchy works.

Reaching the end of Blackwood high street, Bella and I turn down Alexander Avenue. It was then I saw them. Little did I know that this encounter was going to change my life forever. Three people heading in our direction. They wore black and carried swords, actual swords! How was no one else looking at them? All but one of them had their hoods up. That one who had hair that was like as dark as a raven's feather but with eyes as blue as the sea. He couldn't be a year older than us and was looking in our direction.

Nobody gave them a second glance, not ever Bella. It was like they were invisible to everyone but me. The boy saw me staring at them and nudged his companions. They all started to stare at me, one of the looked at me questioningly but the others were sending deaths stares my way. And Bella, poor oblivious Bella, stopped and looked confused. It was like she couldn't see them. Is that even possible?

"What are you looking at, there's nothing there. It's just a wall. The same wall we pass almost every day. Maybe we did a little too much shopping." Well, I was going mad but I'm not going to tell her that. Bella might be my best friend but this is high school. She'd drop me like I had a deadly dieses. Going around with a nut job isn't exactly what popular people do nowadays. If you're popular, you hang out with popular people. If you're not popular, you hang around the popular people and soak up their reflective glory.

"Nothing, it just reminded me of something. . . . Some homework I have to do." Starting to feel lightheaded, I decided no more shopping trips with Bella. Hallucinations aren't a good sign, if that's what they were. I need to eat or drink something. Yeah, that'll be it, I'm not going mad just tired. Who was I trying to fool? I've gone completely crazy.

Cole's POV

The girl was a curious thing. She looked like a mundane, yet she could see us. No mundane should be able to see the shadow world, this meant that she wasn't a human. It intrigues me. She would be the first mundane to see hybrids, (part angel, part human) put on earth to protect people from demons and all the other creatures that go bump in the night, therefore she couldn't be human. I doubt after centuries the first mundane would be able to see us now.

She could be a pixie, I contemplated, she was pretty enough. With her long raven hair, pale skin and green eyes that practically glowed. Or maybe a fae, she has a noble air about here and somewhat resembled the fae queen herself, it made me feel like I should respect her. I don't know what she is, but she's not human. I poke Alec and Ruby and they both turned and noticed the girl and the fact she could see us. Stopping around the corner, we debated what to do.

"We should take her back to the sanctuary. She can see us so she knows too much. Cole, what do you think we should do?" Ruby looked at me as if I knew what to do. Alec had the answer this time though, he usually does.

"We should return for orders. This may have happened before, our parents will know what to do." Alec said and we all nod in agreement. He came up with the sensible plan while Ruby and I come up with crazy plans that could get you killed but still work.

So after a journey on the subway, and walked to Lorestone. It was a great place to avoid supernatural beings as its hallowed ground. We built our hybrid sanctuary under the property after it was abandoned. I won't mention the entrance so you can't find out how to get in and we don't have the normal security measures. And that's an understatement. Take this warning and do not try to find us.

The place was currently run by Lira and Johnathan Kane, Alec and Ruby's parents. Once we got through the secret entrance, we all trudged towards the office single file. I do not look forward to telling John about this, I'll have to kiss my free time goodbye and I have things to do. When we walked in John was engrossed in his paperwork and didn't even look up when we walked in.

"It's not that I don't love seeing my children, but I'm busy. Please come back later, the council wants this done by tomorrow." John didn't even look up from his paperwork.

"We need to talk about this now. On our way back from the tunnel demon we saw a girl, and she saw us. We don't know how she can but it's interesting, her name is Cora but we don't know much else about her." Said Alec.

"Then why isn't she here." He looked up from the papers he was sorting. "Me and your mother can't deal with this, we've been summoned to a council meeting. Ask Iven, he'll be here keeping an eye on things while we're away, get the girl anyway though. He'll want to see her anyway. You know how paranoid he is. Every time even the littlest thing goes wrong he thinks Cain's come with an army to take over the world again."

We left the office the same way we entered. There goes my planes for the rest of the day. We found Iven in the do-jo and he said the same thing that John did, except he only wanted to send me. All of us going in would scare her off. Good bye my free time, hello kidnaping. I hope she doesn't call the police. Not that I couldn't break out of jail, who am I kidding, the police wouldn't even be able to see me.
