"Do you think they'll be fine?" I ask Lay worried. Mei just walked out of the bakery and Baekhyun chased after her. I want to shove my shoe up Baekhyun's ass for not saying anything to that rude girl earlier.
"Yeah, I have faith in the two of them" I stop staring at them from out the window and meet Lay's gaze. He's staring at me. Why is he staring at me?
"Yes Lay?" I have to stop this intensity, or else I'm going to start getting nervous and I don't have time for that.
"Nothing..." I don't want to be too direct with her, but I have to get these feelings off my chest eventually, "We're done eating here, so do you want to go walk around Seuol?"
"Most definently, let'sgo now" I can't hide my exitment.
Lay laughs leaving me blushing, and I pull a tip of 3000 won from my purse.
"No, I got it" He takes out money too.
"I had my money out first" I go to place it on the table, but he immediently grabs my wrist stoppping me from placing the tip down.
"I said I've got it" He smiles putting his money on the table, and directs me out of the bakery still holding me by the wrist.
He's touchiing me. Physically and emotionally. My nerves are freaking out everywhere. I can't take this pressure anymore, so I pull away from him calmly.
He turns toward me. "I apologize if I made you uncomfortable" Ah! I was being too direct!
"It's not like that. It's just...you intimidate me a little too much" I'm a very honest person, and I hate that. I normally regret everything that comes out of my mouth, but for some reason...I don't regret this.
"Is that so" He smirks showing his cute dimple. It sends a chill down my body that I can't explain.
"Yeah" I blush looking down.
*Lay takes his hand and grabs hold of Jiao's. Intertwining his fingers with hers, Jiao's eyes open wide in surprise*
"Where to first?" Lay smiles looking striaght ahead. She's probably so embarrassed now. *Lay laughs to himself*
"How about, uh... I don't know" My voice is so shaky. I wasn't expecting such an encounter with Zhang Yixing, "I know! Just keep an open mind when we get there, okay" Lay looks at me.
"No problem" I look up at him, and our eyes meet. I give his a hand a slight squeeze and he blushes.
-
"We've been walking for about 10 minutes Lay, where are we going" I ask with a playful tone. Although we've been walking for a while now, I don't want to leave his side.
"Just one more block and you'll see. You know, you're very impatient" Lay smirks. She's cute when she's like this.
"Okay" I smile looking down at our hands. Can we stay like this forever?
*They stop in front of a small building connected to others*
"This is supposed to be the most convenient store in Seoul" He looks up at the strangely shaped building with a smile.
"Really?" I ask impressed.
"No" He looks down at me and laughs, "Let's go" He leads me into the store like an excited puppy.
There's clothes and accessories everywhere.
"Ms. Sin! Haven't seen you in what, a year?!" The lady looks over to me, "Or shall I say Mrs. Yixing" I immediently untie our fingers.
"No we're not a thing" I assure her.
"Yeah" Lay agrees. She makes it seem like it would be a bad thing... I mean, I thought for a moment that she liked me. The way she held my hand...
"Sorry, but it sounds like you know me?" I've never seen her before... I don't think I have.
"Well sort of, back in Beijing you and my brother were like a thing...or I might be mistaken" She smiles bowing.
"There's no need to apologize, but I don't know what you're talking about"
"Sorry for the misunderstanding ma'am, do you two need help with anything?" The women immedienty looks to Lay and gets nervous.
"No, I think we're just going to look around for a little bit, thank you though" Lay smiles at the women and we walk to the back of the shop.
"So, why do you like this place so much?" I look up to him.
"I don't know" Why is he being so short all of a sudden?
"Oh..." Did I say something?
That sounded rude. Damn. I don't want to be mean to her, that's not my intention. It's just that I wanted her to come out with me so we could get closer...but I guess she doesn't like me the way I like her so...
"Sorry Jiao, I probablly should get back to Suho and Sehun. They said they were going to practice today" Lay bows to me and walks out of the store.
"What? No!" I run out the store unaware of what I'm doing, "Zhang Yixing!"
Lay turns around shocked. This should be good. "Uh, Jiao?"
"Why are you upset? Did I say something?"
"What? Of course not, I just have to get back to the guys" His words almost sound believable, but I'm not buying it.
"You're lying" I raise my eyebrow, "I'm a EXO fan and I know how to tell when you lie"
"Really? Shoot." He says intriuged.
"Your right eye dials a little" I state, "It's doing it right now actually" I smile annoyed.
"Well...I didn't even know that" We exchange laughs.
"Can you tell me why you were upset earlier?" She's looking at me with stars in her eyes. I geuss I'll say my feeling first...
"It's not really a big deal...but I got offended when you removed your hand from mine, when you said no with so much denial like you couldn't you couldn't even fathem being in a relationship with me. It just made me feel strange..."
"Huh? I-" I don't know what to say to this...I can't just say I'm in love with Zhang Yixing (I am) to his face. He doesn't even know me. I'm stuck! I need Mei right now!
*In an instant, Jiao places a gentle kiss on Lay's cheek*
"Okay, let's go back to the hotel now" I smile and grasp his hand in mine once again.
"Aish!" *Lay forcfully pulls Jiao back and kisses her with passion, on the lips*
They're so soft and mezmorizing. Lay thinks to himself smiling as they walk back to the hotel. Lay now has his arm around Jiao. She's mine now.
