*Baekhyun and Sehun just got back from practicing together when they both decided to go say hey to the two new girls in their lives. As they exit the elevator they see Mei's door open. Baekhyun and Sehun watch close with jealousy, Suho places a kiss on Mei's cheek leaving her blushing uncontrollably. They wait for the two to go inside before moving*

"Well, I'm just going to go to sleep" Sehun places a hand on Baekhyun's shoulder, then walks down the hallway into EXO's room.

"Okay." Baekhyun does the same, yet  before he enters EXO's room, he stares at Mei's door. "I will have you to myself Me Li, just wait." He then walks in full of confidence.

Hours later, now mid evening
-

"Mei...what are you doing?" Jiao asks me confused.

"Me? Oh, I'm cooking" I smile acting surprised by her unstable question.

"You know damn well that you can't cook" Jiao laughs and enters the kitchen. For some odd reason after Suho left, I got excited and felt like cooking. The only thing I've ever been able to make is rice. I never use the stove or oven. I mean, I have no need for it. The last time I made anything was when I attempted to bake a cake for my mom's birthday. Yet being stupid, I didn't set a timer, nor did I spread butter on the bottom of the pan. The house was lit with smoke as I got out the shower, and the cake was burnt horribly. It took me forever to wash that stupid glass pan. Now that was 2 years ago, and I haven't read not one cooking book since.

"I decided to give it another try" I smile stirring noodles. There's three boiling pans on the stove. One for cut up of steak, one for sirlion meat, and then one for noodles that I'm going to mix the cut up steak with. This time around I got kimchi, steak, and bulgogi. I read the directions on the internet carefully, and I watched some quick videos on simple cooking strategies. I think it will be fine.

"I guess that means I'm stuck here with you" Jiao sighs and leaves me to go lay down on the couch. A smile creeps onto her lips. I notice her strange behavior, so I walk over to her tightly gripping a knife I was about to cut more peppers with.

"What happened at your date, Jiao. Or shall I say Mrs. Yixing?" I smirk jokingly, but she sits right up at the thought.

"Mrs...? I'm not getting married Mei, ever" She laughs, "You know this Mei" She pinches my cheek that's now hovering over her face, and lays back down resting her head on the arm of the sofa. I'm leaning over the back of the sofa starring down into her eyes trying to figure out her emotions, but I get nothing.

"Well, what if Lay wants to get married?" I ask swaying the cutting knife in the air. I know Jiao is in love with that boy. She's loved him ever since EXO-M's debut song, MAMA.

"Then he can buy a ring and slide it onto my finger..." I don't want to sound cocky or ignorant, but the thought of mariage scares me. Sharing everything with someone...it's just not my thing. I like having privacy with my things. "But I won't be signing any papers" Jiao clarifies.

"I understand Jiao. I mean, not everyone wants a nice, big, happy family..." I extend my words so Jiao hears me clearly.

*Jiao quickly stands up from the sofa, startling Mei. Mei then loses grip of the knife she was holding, and it falls striaght onto it's point, stabbing into the hard wood floor.*

"And this is why you shouldn't cook" Jiao bends down picking up the knife.

"Aish! I can to cook!" I huff and snatch the knife out of her hand by it's handle.

"Ok ok, but don't you remember what happened last time when-" I cut her off.

"Of course I do Jiao! But that was a while ago. Plus, I'm older now. I can probably even cook better you!" I shout out of anger. I can do anything if set my mind to...so my father said.

"Oh really? Well let's have an audience shall we" Jiao puts out there not even asking. "Since you're so confident, why don't we invite EXO over for dinner huh" She picks up her cellphone.

"You wouldn't..." My eyes narrow in on her. She most definently would.

"CALLING KIM JOON MYUN" Siri speaks from Jiao's phone.

"No hoe!" I hop over the couch and go for her phone, but she's too fast. I find myself chasing Jiao around the living.

*As the girls play a childish game of tag, the call goes to voicemail*

"Ha! I guess it's not meant to be" I relax, slouching down on the couch.

"Um, Mei?" Jiao giggles to herself.

"What?" I ask getting comfortable, but for some reason Jiao keeps laughing,

"The food is burning" I turn my head towards the kitchen in denial. Yet my eyes open wide as I see smoke coming from the kitchen.

"AISH!" I rush into the war room, fanning the smoke in panic. I look down at the food spread out all across the counter. The meat looks burnt and I forgot to put the peppers in the kimich. Ugh!! "Jiao...Come help me!" I shout for my friend's aid.

"I was already coming"

*Jiao walks into the kitchen with as smile*

"I messed it all up" I lower my head in shame. "Can you fix it?"

"What? Nothing's messed up Mei" Jiao laughs leaning over the stove. She turns one of the nobs, on the stove, to the left. "You just had the burners on too high." Jiao rolls her eyes still laughing.

"Oh...I don't see waht's funny" I then pick up the tray of already sliced peppers, and dump them into the pot with the bulgogi. I thought I was a dead women for moment there.

*Knock Knock*

"I'll get it. You have to attend to this mess" Jiao looks around the kitchen. It now has dishes and plastic wraps everywhere form me cooking. I was going to clean up when I finished anyways...

"Ok" I respond as Jiao walks out the kitchen with a geeky smile.

JIAO'S POV

-

"Who is it?" I stand on my tipy toes looking through the peep hole. It's Suho...

"Kim Joon Myun, uh Suho" They probably don't know my real name...or do they? Jiao is a fan after all.

"Yes?" I open the door. Didn't I just try to call him and it went to voicemail?

"When you callled my cell, Lay had taken it from me, not allowing me to answer. So, I came over to see what you needed" He smiles bright, but then his attention focus's on something else. "Not to intrude...but do I smell Kimchi?" His smile becomes wider.

"Yes you do. Mei's cooking" I giggle at the thought and he notices.

"What? Can she not cook?" That's not what I expected at all...Mei seems pretty perfect.

"No it's not that. She's actually..." I attempt to find the words to respond with, "Gotten much better. Fill free to bring the rest of the group" I smile. Mei's going to hate me.

"Right now it's Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Lay, and I. Did she even make enough?" He asks unsure.

"Yeah, no need worry about that" I dismiss his question. Mei cooked way too much. She had a lot of meat in the pot. It was at least 3 quarters full. To be honest, if the regualr amount of meat was in that pot, it would've been burnt...badly. But I won't tell Mei that. Her facial expression went from "my life is ruined"  to "God bless Korea", when I told her that everything was fine. I'm really just glad that she forgot about the life ruining picture that Kim Young gave to her.
