Part 27

When Sehun and I got back to the hotel we parted ways. I went back to the game room, and he went upstairs to his room. I knew that if I were to go upstairs, then I'd have to face Jiao and say goodbye to my brother, but I can't do either of those things at the moment. Plus, Jiao will notice something's bothering me right away, and she'll talk me into telling her what's wrong, and if I tell her then I'll cry. I don't really feel like crying today.

"Hello?" I walk into the room expecting to see GOT7. Yet no one responds. "Well, I'm just going to put in this xbox game...Bambam?" I walk slowly to the game console and slide in a zombie game. Huh, I thought they'd be in here, but I guess not.

*Timme passes without Mei realizing it.*

"Ah! Die devil sponds die!" I scream. These zombies keep trying to kill me, and it's hard because I have to search for ammo to refill my guns. I can't find ammo, so now I have to kill them with knives!

"Funny to see you playing this." A familiar voices says from the couch behind me. I pause the game and turn around. It's Jin. Why is he here? I immediantely tense up.

"What are you doing here?" I get up from the floor and sit on the other couch.

"I'm thinking of working here a little longer." He smirks.

"What? Why?" I make a disgusted face.

"Like I said before, I want to get to know you, Mei Li." His facial exppression goes serious.

"I don't see why." I shrug my shoulders.

"Because you indimidate me."

My heart is beating fast. Why do I feel like this all of a sudden? "Well...uh- that's nice. I should probably go." I stand up confused and walk around him trying to get away.

*Jin grabs Mei by the wrist with a strong grip*

"You forgot to turn off the game." He then pulls me back towards him, and I lose my balance falling onto him.

My heart is going to leap from my chest.

*Mei blushes, because of Jin's intensive stare.*

"Sorry, you tripped." He helps me up, still not letting go of my wrist.

"...I have to turn off the g-game, remember?" I can't help but look into his light brown eyes.

"Oh yeah, go ahead" He let's go of me laughing. Yet I just stand there, drowning in my mixed emotions. "Mei? You there?" Jin waves his hand in my face smiling bright. Did I just imagine everything.

"Aish! Sorry, I better be on my way now. Jiao is probably awake." I snap out of it and turn of the console.

"Jiao? Oh yes, your friend." He remembers her.

"Yeah, the one you kidnapped." I smile sarcastically.

"I apologize about that..." Jin looks down.

"I know, I heard you the first couple times. It's just funny to see you apologize." I giggle to myself.

She thinks it's funny? Well in that case, I'll apologize on a daily just to hear her laugh. "Is that so?" He smirks.

"Yes...I think...bye Jin!" I wave and head for the door.

"Jin?" He looks back to me.

"Yes, that's what I'm going to call you." I smile and leave the room.

I walk into my room and set my cellphone down. "Jiao? Brother, are you awake?" It's only bwen like 3 hours since I left with Sehun, so that means it's probably around 4am...

*Mei walks into the livingroom, but doesn't see Jiao or her brother, so she then checks the bedrooms. No one is in the hotel room*

Where are those bastards? Oh! EXO's room. They were doing something earlier in there, so that's most likely where they are. I leave the apartment grabbing my phone.

*Knock Knock*

I can hear noise coming from the otherside of the door. What are they doing? I knock again.

*Knock Knock*

Still no response. What the hell?! I might get charged with trespassing, but I could care less. I didn't get charged last time, haha.

"Hello?" I walk in. It's pitch black and I can't see anything. "Ouch" I ran into the side table and laugh at my mistake. I make my way towards the livingroom. I can a see light coming from a window.

*A popping noise*

"What the hell?!" I turn around at the loud noise, and the lights come on.

"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" All of EXO, Jiao, and my brother jump out of hiding.

"Oh my goodness" I place a hand on my heart and laugh. "We're you guys trying to kill me?" I laugh again.

"Drink, you need it" Jiao comes up to me with a bottle of champain that's fissing.

"Don't mind if I do" Xiumin hands me a glass and I bow to him. "Thank you guys." I blush.

"Don't mention it, happy birthday" Suho places a kiss on my hand. I blush horribly, and Jiao notices.

"Well, let's toast." Jiao holds up her glass and everyone else holds up theirs. I wonder how long their drinks have been sitting out. They're probably warm and nasty now.

"To my sister, she's annoying and rude, but also one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen." He winks to Jiao, but she just rolls her eyes. "Happy birthday Mei Li" I hug him tight.

"Thank you." I back away from Kim Young and bow. I can't hide how happy I am. I've never actually celebrated my birthday, considering it was on the day that...my father and sister were killed, but I'm going to leave that in the past.

I scan the room looking for that one person. Where is he?

"1, 2, 3!" Jiao shouts.

*Chen, Xiumin, and D.O walk up to Mei slowly and start singing the Happy Birthday song.*

"Oh my gosh." I cover my mouth with my two hands. I can't breathe. They are so talented! That's is like a personal concert right here!

*The song ends and they clear a path. Baekhyun walks down the middle of it with Kai at his side. Happiness explodes with in Mei, since she's been waiting to see Baekhyun*

"Happy birthday Mei Li" Baekhyun smiles and pulls out a bouquet of roses. I gasp and my heart beat rises.

"Oh my gosh, thank you so much." I take the flowers and Baekhyun bows. I bow back in return.

"Happy birthday Mei Li" Kai says next, but in english. Holy fuck, his voice is so deep when he speaks english...

*Kai holds out a neckless that have 'Remember us- EXO'  imprinted on it*

"Oh my gosh, Kai. Did you get that made specially?" I gasp holding it up.

"Yeah, we're going to be leaving in another week so I wanted you to have something to remember us by." He smiles warmly.

Overwhelmed with emotions, I hug Kai. "Thank you so much."

*On the other hand, the rest of EXO got jealous, expecially Baekhyun.*

"Here, let me put it on." Kai insist, and I pull back my hair.

*Kai attaches the neckless clips together, and Mei just smiles*

"Thank you guys so much." I say again. I'm very excited.

"Hey Mei! You haven't even looked at my present!" Kim Young pouts.

"You got me something?" I ask amazed. Never thought in a million years that he'd get me a present.

"Of course!" He smiles and pulls out a picture, "In memory of old times."

*The picture is of their father, mother, sister, and them two all seated on a bench in the fall. Mei's smile goes away.*
