Part 52

"Trust me, they'll be here" Kai tosses a Hershey kiss into his mouth. I look at him for a moment, but then walk into the kitchen.

I wonder where the two could've gone. They already have their suits from what Baekhyun and Jiao told me. We have an uber taking us to the dinner so their not out getting a car. Considering their body guards are here and Kai said that they're going to be here soon, they are clearly not at the restaurant. Besides, there are be too many fans there for them to go alone.

*Mei grabs a Champaign glass from out of the cabinets and fills it with water, thinking to herself*

Wait. There's going to be a lot of fans. Should we even be seen together? Especially because we're on a date. I'd get so much hate from the Baekhyun stans it's bad, and I could only imagine what the Zhang Yixing stans would think about Jiao.

But to be honest, I don't care about the fans. If they actually love their biases, shouldn't they be happy for their relationships? Yet then again if Mark Tuan were to get a girlfriend, I'd be the most jealous women alive.

*Mei places her empty glass into the sink and twirls her long, brown, and wavy hair with her index finger, leaning her back up against the counter*

Are the boys even allowed to date? I heard that idols sign off a certain amount of time to their companies to not date. If that's true, is their contract even over? I wouldn't want them to get in trouble.
I hope it is. I don't know what's going to happen after today, but I'd really like to stay with Baekhyun.
Yet I wouldn't want to jeopardize his career. Baekhyun is too smart and talented to give up his career over some girl.

*Although Mei loves Baekhyun, she wouldn't want him to drop everything for her. It'd be too much of her to ask.

Someone knocks on the wall, and snaps Mei out of her thoughts*

"Oh, Sehun" I sigh relieved.

"Yeah, you okay?" He walks over to me and leans up against the counter beside me.

"Yeah, you just startled me"

"Taht's not what I meant. I asked are you okay because you've been in here alone for a few minutes now. What's wrong?" He keeps looking straight, so I do the same.

"I just grabbed a glass of water. I'm fine, thanks for your concern" I face him and bow, then start to walk away.

"Lying is rude Mei" He speaks, before I can even get 5 feet away. I stop walking and turn back towards him. He has this smirk on his face that causes me to walk closer to him.

"It's just..." I don't know if I should tell him, "You can't tell anybody. These are my feelings" I stare into his soul.

"I wouldn't dare" He says in a playful tone, but I know he's serious.

"Okay, well I'm just really nervous" I lean up against the counter again.

"About?" He pushes the topic.

"Baekhyun. I don't want to be a burden to him" I look over to Sehun to see his facial expression. His eyes are wide open and staring back into mine.

"A burden? You aren't a burden to anyone Mei. Why would you even think that?"

I bite my bottom lip, "Baekhyun's a very popular idol. What if he has to break up with me because of company issues and complaints?" I keep biting my lower lip, agitated with his silence.

I know she's referring to his fans, but I can't believe she's saying this. Doesn't she know that Baekhyun loves her? Anyone who to sees them just simply look at each other would know that they're in love. It pains me to say this because Suho Hyung likes Mei, but Bakehyun and Mei are a phenomenal couple. I doubt he'll ever break up with her.

"Stop fiddling with your hair, stop biting your lip, and focus" I do as he says, "Baek loves you Mei. Can't you see that? He won't do anything to hurt you and there is no reason for him to break up with you. He is eligible to date, so you will be fine. Now smile and go out there with Jiao. We'll be meeting Lay and Baek at the restaurant" Sehun smiles kindly and places a hand on my shoulder. He starts walking out of the kitchen, but I grab him by his wrist before he exits. He turns around and looks at me shocked.

"Thank you. I don't know what's gotten into me. Sorry to lay my problems on you Sehun" I bow sincerely, but he lifts me up.

"Stop apologizing. You can come to me when ever you need anything. Even in 20 years, if we loose contact for some reason, come to me" He steps back and gestures for me to go first. I blush.

"Trust me. I will" I wink to him and walk out. Sehun is really kind. It's nice to have someone like him around.

*Everyone leaves the hotel and heads to the Restaurant. Each EXO member wearing all black suits with only a white tie*

"So, today's our last day together ladies" Jongdae (Chen) smiles staring at Jiao. At the moment, Chen, Kyungsoo, Sehun, Chanyeol, Jiao, and I are in the same car with the rest of the boys (expect Baekhyun and Lay) are in the other car behind us. Jiao and I are sitting beside each other with kyungsoo on her left side. Then Chen is across from us with Sehun and Suho on both sides of him. Sehun across from me, Chen across from Jiao, and Chanyeol across from Kyungsoo.

Jiao has her hair up high into a perfect bun with a braid circling around the perimeter of her head, tying up into the bun. She has a dangling piece of hair barely passing her left eyelash.

She looks ravishing as always.

"Yes it is" I smile, having Jongdae look to me.

"Did you two enjoy your time with us? It's new having females around for a long time, just hanging out" He asks worried. I look at the other boys who are also curious.

"Of course! It was really funny hanging out with you all" I smile politely.

"We wish it didn't have to come to an end" Jiao adds in, and I nod agreeing with her statement.

"Feel free to visit when ever you'd like" Chanyeol says, "As a matter of fact, may I see your phone Mei?" He holds out his hand. I reached down to my heel and pull out my cell.
