I've Never Dreamed

Part One

Mei's POV

"Mei and Jiao, you two will be taking the project in Seoul. The K-pop male groups, EXO and GOT7, will be at The Taji Hall  hotel for the next two weeks. You ladies must camp out there and not leave until you get some exclusive news to report, you got it?" My team's Chief demands.

"Yes sir," Jiao and I respond in unison. 

Jiao has been my best friend ever since I moved here to Gwangmyeong, South Korea. And it just so happens that she has a huge obsession with K-pop bands. Which makes this assignment a huge vacation for her. I really enjoy K-pop, but I don't have time to go to concerts and fan signs on a daily basis. I don't know how Jiao does her job so well, yet still goes to every concert scheduled. It's insane, but must be nice.

"Choi de and Wenja, you will be at the police station. Try to get as many cases as possible then report them back to me...and make sure you back up each case with truthful evidence." Chief points his pen towards them.

"Yes, Chief." Choi de glares at me with a bratty smile, having me roll my eyes. I don't know what it is, but I despise this girl so much. She's just... a bitch. A stupid one at that.

"You're dismissed." He waves his hand half-wittedly, showing exactly how much he cares about this meeting.

I gather up my belongings and walk out of the press room.

"Mei, did you hear that?! We're going to be with EXO and GOT7 for two weeks!" Jiao says full of exitement.

"No. We are going to be monitoring them. There's a difference. Anyways, don't get too carried away. I know you and-" I get cut off by a voice behind us.

"I'm Jiao and I get to go love on EXO all week." Choi de mimics while pressing a magazine up to her lips. (her mind works like a five year old child and it's obnoxious)

"To be technical, it's two weeks. And stop being so childish all the time. It gets annoying, you know." Jiao states.

"Look, just don't go all fan girl on us, okay 2nd timer?" Choi de and her followers call Jiao, 2nd timer because when she first got into reporting it took her two months to only get done with two reports. To be fair, everyone thought they both were dead ends. Yet Jiao some how got the exclusives on them. Although most of our Co-workers don't look at it like that, I do.

"At least we're not going to be slaving it away at the police station looking for dead ends all week. You already know that the police will not tell reporters anything until the news is already out in some other way." I shut her down then nudge Jiao in the arm and we start walking towards the elevator.

"I wasn't even talking to you Mei! By the way..." She shouts out to me right when the elevator door dings. 

"When you insult her, you're insulting me too. Have a nice day!" I turn towards her and wave with a bright smile, then step into the elevator.

"What would I do without you, M?" Jiao calls me M  a lot.

"You just wouldn't be able to breathe." I wink at her.

"I know." She winks back.

Visiting my very first fan-fiction... Yeah, I wrote this whole thing about 2 years ago and in like one month, so be ready to see MAJOR mistakes throughout this story. I will find the time to go back and edit all 65 parts because I do like the plot to this story, but...it's really long so it may be a while before I do that. ;P
