Norman smile at me.

We hop off his bike.

I grab Norman's hand.

"I can't.", I said.

"Jane, they are you parents. I'm sure they miss you. I'm here with you.", He said.

We both walk to the door. I stood in front of the door but couldn't bring myself to knock on it. Norman flash me a quick smile and knock for me.
My heart was beating out of my chest. I was nervous. What would I tell them? Sorry mom and dad. Sorry I left.
We heard footsteps by the door. And heard it unlock. The white door swing open.

I stare at the man who open the door. I could tell he didn't recognize me at first. Did I really look different?

"Jane?", my father said as he open the door.

I could see he still kept his beard.

"Dad!", I cry out.

Tears run down my cheek.

My dad pulls me in for a hug. It was a tight and long hug.

As my father pulls away from me, my mother comes to the door.

"Who is it hon----.......J-Jane?", my mother said.

She held a hand against her mouth, as if she was shock to see me.

I ran up to her and hug her.

"Jane," she said, "I've miss you."

Norman stand there and cough.

Oh shit!

My parents stare at Norman.

"Mom, Dad this is Norman. Norman this is my mom and dad.", I said introducing everybody.

Norman walk to both of them and shook their hands.

"Hello ", Norman said.

My mother smiled at him.

"Come in, come inside it's cold out here.", my mother said.

We walk inside and sat on the couch. Everything still look the same. Nothing has change.

"Jane, you look different. Very different.", said my dad.

"Yeah, I started bushing my hair.", I said laughing.

"Honey, look at you. You also gotten smaller.", my mom said.

I smile at her.

Norman held my hand and squeeze it. I was super nervous.

"Who is this?", My dad ask pointing at Norman.

"I'm her boyfriend, sir.", Norman answer.

I blush. That was the first time I've ever heard say that. I felt my cheeks heating up.

"Jane, you look beautiful. I remember you use to be so ugly.", my mom said.

Now, I was starting to remember why I left. I forgot my parents were the biggest assholes. They also made fun of me. Kids made school hell for me. And my parents made home hell for me. I was safe no-where.

"I prayed for you.", she continue. My dad nodded his head.

"I'm sure Jane was always a beautiful girl.", Norman said.

"Ha....haha...Jane was smart and funny but she never had her mother's good looks.", my dad point at my mom.

I flinch at his harsh words.
