I woke up in a weird storage-looking place, with Joel tied by my side.
Where was Luke?
Brody passed me over and over again. Something told me to keep pretending like I was sleeping.
"Is Luke alright?" Brody shouted
"He's okay, but he's not coming to." said another voice.
"Good. Tie him up with the rest of them. They shouldn't be awake for a while.
"But, sir, the sleeping mix has a less effect on people fifteen and under. I read the label. That girl should be awake by now."
Well, at least they can read.
Brody walked up to me. I could smell his horrible cologne that he probably lathered himself in instead of taking a shower. I didn't dare to even slightly open my eyes.
"Nope. Out cold."
For once, my acting skills finally came in handy.
They tied who I assumed was Luke to my other side.
Well, this is awkward.
Honestly, being sandwiched between any two guys would be awkward, but the fact that this is my fandom I'm being sandwiched in between and the fact that they are both out cold kind of makes it more awkward.
In any other situation, maybe this would be less awkward.
Luke was the first one up. He started waking up after 1 hour, 23 minutes, and 12.83 seconds.
Yes. I counted.
He slowly opened his eyes, and I could already imagine what was going through his head. He was probably so confused.
He turned his head to face me, and then Joel. His eyes basically yelled "Where are we, what happened!?"
I mouthed the words "Be very quiet" because I feared someone would hear us. We had an entire conversation with our faces. In his eyes I noticed something that I never saw before.
Fear. Pure, shocking, fear.
I didn't really know what to do about that, it's not like I could currently give him a pat on the back.
The only thing I could give him was a pat on the knee. That didn't really make a difference.
Joel started waking up 27 minutes and 34.79 seconds after Luke started waking up. He also had pure fear in his eyes.
What did he see in my eyes right now?
I also told him to be quiet. This was an absurd situation, and my only mindset was getting out of here. I looked around for an opening. Then Brody came in and pointed it out for me.
"Finally. You're up." he sneered "How do you like your new home?"
I didn't answer. Neither did anyone else.
"I didn't tape your mouth shut! Speak!"
I stared at him. I didn't see a mirror around, but I know I was giving him a death stare.
"Alright, little girl, think you so tough?"
I stared at him. What even did I do?
"Alright, then, let's see how tough you are." He walked up to me and untied me. He then punched me in the face, making me tumble backwards. I returned his punch with a well-deserved slap in the face.
Shocked that I fought back, he grabbed my neck and started choking me. I heard both Luke and Joel yell my name. Everything started going dizzy.
No. I have to fight back!
I gave him a hard kick in the groin, making him yell and fall backwards. I didn't even have time to catch my breath. I untied Luke and Joel so we could make our escape.
But as we turned around, we saw an entire army of guys dressed as Brody.
They simply grabbed us and carried us away.Brody deserved it! What are those guys doing..?
