As I was being dragged to wherever I was being dragged to, I was just thinking about my life decisions.
Why did I sacrifice my life for Luke and Joel? Was it because they were my fandom? Or because I felt a different type of love towards them? Should I have even done it?
I have no idea.
They threw me into some room. Fred walked up to me.
"You helped them escape," he said "After I trusted you."
"Sir, I've been through a journey that lead us here. I've met many people like you. They're all the same. So interested in their goals that they forget to actually stop and think."
"Without you, we could've been a great business!"
"Well, you shouldn't've kidnapped Luke."
"Ah. Luke. That's his name. Name from the Bible."
"Surprised you know that."
"And the guy with you. His name isn't James, is it?"
"That information is something that I won't tell you."
"Why do I even bother with you?" he slapped me in the face. "You risked your life for people that'll never come back. What an idiot,"
"An idiot wouldn't allow one little girl to stop this... 'buisiness'. While you could've made it out with a city population, you have one girl."
"That'll help me get them back."
"No. Why would I do that."
"Because if not, I'm making your life miserable."
I walked up to his face.
"Then so be it," I said "I was suicidal anyway."
He looked at me.
"So that'd be what you wanted," he said "So I'm just gonna hurt you. A lot. Until you agree that you'll help me get them back."
"No. I just let them go. Why would I give them back to you?"
"Ugh! You're impossible."
"It's called a sacrifice. For people I love and for people that needed a chance."
"Oh, really?" he sneered "You have no chance. What are you, fifteen? You don't have any life ahead of you."
Actually I'm twelve. But he doesn't have to know that.
"Okay," I said "When I started my journey, I left from a place where I didn't have a chance. Or a life. Here, I have a bigger chance."
"Alright," he said "We'll see."
