"Okay, you ready, Luke?"
"Not really. Are you sure this is going to work?"
"I've never failed at acting not once in my life, and your life depends on this, so you can't. Come on."
"What if they tell you to stab me or something?"
"Then I'll improvise. Actors and actresses are all about that."
"Alright, if you say so."
I walked into the cabin with a tied-up Luke by my side. I went to the room they were in and put him on the floor.
"I surrender," I say, putting my hands up "And this is my peace treaty."
The guy walked up to Luke slowly and poked his cheek. "Is this the real Luke?"
"No, it's a fake one made outta rocks and twigs! Of course it's the real Luke, idiot!"
He shot me a glare. I shot him one back.
"You don't intimidate me," I said, smirking "Which is why I'd make a great member for your crew. Police come to question me, I say nothing. Plus, I know all you want to know about these two. I don't make a great enemy, but I do make the perfect ally. Choose."
"Alright, you wanna join my crew?" he held up his right hand "Welcome. I'm Jordan."
I checked his hand before I shook it "Hi, Jordan," I said
"And your name is?"
"Sorry, I work undercover. Been posing as a lost girl. My name is classified."
"Alright, then. This," a girl that looked about my age walked up "Is Charlotte. She's the fangirl that I'm doing all of this for."
"Hey, Charlotte," I said.
"Hey. Wait, how did you find your way here?"
"I'm a for KING & COUNTRY fangirl as well. I used my fangirl senses."
"You have those?"
"Every good fangirl does."
"Then I must not be a good King and Country fan girl."
"Yeah, I can tell."
Jordan then dragged in Joel, who was now awake. He had duct tape on his mouth and was tied to a chair. When he saw me, his eyes widened.
"Hey, Joe," he scoffed.
"It's Joel," Luke corrected "If you're gonna kidnap us, at least get our names right."
"I can call him whatever I want," Jordan told Luke.
"Actually, on a technical note, you can't. By calling out the name 'Joe,' you are seemingly summoning someone going by the name of Joe rather than Joel. If you say Joe, Joel doesn't have to answer." I wish I would've had some glasses to put on like they did in the cartoons.
"Oh," Jordan paused "Well, Joel, meet my newest recruit."
Joel's already worried eyes looked up at me. I shrugged my shoulders.
"The way I see it, pal, only one of us three are getting out," I said "And if I have to sacrifice you two to do it, then so be it."
Joel's eyes started watering. Obviously he thought this was real. Which is good. That means I'm convincing to them, too.
"Why do you have tape on Joel's mouth? How will we hear him sing?" I said.
"Oh my goodness, you're right!" Charlotte went to take the tape off of Joel's mouth and booped his nose when she did it.
"What are you doing?" Joel shouted "You can't work for them!"
"Actually, I can." I said with a sneer.
"What happened to you? Who was that girl in the tent risking her life for our protection?"
"An undercover person," I said "But I'm glad I was convincing."
"Wait, so you were bad all along?" he shouted "I can't believe we trusted you! You make me sick!"
It took all of my acting not to cry. To hear these words out of Joel's mouth, after all of that... But he'll know soon enough.
"That's exactly what she wants," Jordan gave Joel a slap on the face.
"Hey!" I yelled. Jordan turned around "Okay, one, YOU have no right to say what I want! Two, don't slap his face! You'll mess it up for the selfie!"
"Oh, okay, sorry..." he sort of fluffed out Joel's face. I started communicating with Luke via face expressions. It went a little like this:
Me: Wow, I can't believe he bought that!
Luke: Me either. Joel is FURIOUS, though.
Me: Good. It won't be hard to get him to act like he hates my guts.
Luke: Won't that make it harder for him to come with us?
Me: Not if you convince him otherwise.
We had to stop because Jordan came back into the room.
"Alright, dinner's ready!" he threw two used plates at them with what looked like just plain trash on it. I gagged myself.
"Jordan, I haven't eaten anything but McDonald's crackers for days now," I said "Can you make me a buffet?"
"Coming right up, Miss," he went into the kitchen.
Charlotte came up to me "You're such a good fangirl," she said "Can you teach me your ways?"
"Okay, sure. Sit down, there's so much to learn," I said. When she sat down, I continued. "Okay, well, first, we need another thing to fangirl on."
"How about... Bruno Mars?"
I cringed. Yes, I know exactly who Bruno Mars is. Mainly I know he's NOT a Christian artist. Hey, but that works for me.
"Alright. Bruno Mars it is. First, you have to pick a favorite album to start with. You have an ITunes account?"
"Yeah. I'll download it right now," she tapped on her iPhone 7 Plus. Then, she started listening to the entire album.
I HAD TO POWER THROUGH 10 NON-CHRISTIAN SONGS. It was torture.
"Okay," I said, acting as if I wasn't permanently scarred "How did you like it?"
"That... Was... AMAZING!" she shrieked "Bruno Mars is the best! How about you? Did you like it!?"
"Yes, I love the one about catching bombs for an ungrateful girl," I said. That was really the only one I remembered. Joel laughed, but then his face got straight again. How can I let him know that I'm still on his side without giving anything away?
"Okay, here's the first part of the buffet you requested... I hope you like Mac and Cheese." Jordan said as he put a giant plate on the table.
I got a giant plate. I'm not gonna be able to finish it, but I don't want to.
"Hey, Jordan, can I get two other forks?" I asked him.
"Uh, okay," he gave me two other forks.
I took a giant forkful and gestured it at Luke under the table. He ate it and secretly chewed it. He faced Joel to sort of explain what was happening. I used the other fork and gestured it to Joel. He looked up at me doubtfully, but he reluctantly ate the forkful.
This went on until they were both full, and I ate the rest with the third fork. When Jordan came back, I ate until I was stuffed.
"Jordan," Charlotte exclaimed "Celeste helped me discover a new artist! Bruno Mars!"
"Good," Jordan said "He'll be easier to capture. What do you want me to do with these guys?" he kicked Joel on the side.
"I don't know. Do whatever you want with them."
"They ain't worth while. If we release them, they'll tell the cops," he said "So I'll kill them tomorrow morning. Sound good?"
"Yeah. I don't wanna go to jail."
"Okay. Sound good, Celeste?"
"Uh, yeah. I don't wanna go to jail either. Kill 'em tomorrow." what choices have I made in my life that led me to saying that I was gonna kill Luke and Joel?
"Alright. So it's settled. We need to get a good night's sleep. We only have two rooms, so you'll have to share this one with Joe and Lucas. Sorry. I'll bring in a mattress, a pillow, and a blanket."
After he set up my bed for me, he shut off the lights and told me to get to bed.
"Get a lot of rest," he said "You'll need the energy to kill them tomorrow."

Guess what I am? BACK!!
