Chapter Thirteen: The Fallout

AUTHOR'S POV 

Larry: "Baby, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry".

Laurent can't even say anything. He just looks at him and Larry's heart crumbles as he's now seeing two tears stream down Laurent's face. The moment Larry sees his tears more of his own fall for the look on Laurent's face speaks nothing of pure devastation. So devastated in fact that after several moments pass by Laurent still can't say anything...but once Larry proceeds to apologize again...

Larry: "Baby I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. I...."

Laurent brings his hand up which means Larry doesn't need to say anything else. Larry stops his words and gulps in anticipation of what Laurent has to say...

Laurent: "I had a feeling something was going with you". *sniff* "I tried to get you to talk to me but you keep telling me the same thing". *pause* "Now I know". *pause* "You cheated...and you lied". 

Tears keeps falling down Larry's cheek one right after another...

Larry: "I'm so sorry baby". 

Completely ignoring Larry's apology...

Laurent: "How long"?

Larry can't immediately answer that question because to have cheated once is hurtful so as long as it's been going on he just can't reply...but the silence from him only makes it worse so things quickly take an unsurprising turn... 

Laurent: "How long"?!!!

Larry jumps at Laurent's roar and knows he has to answer right away...

Larry: "A few weeks". 

*silence*

Larry: *sniff* "Baby I'm really sorry". 

Laurent: "I don't want your sorry". 

Larry's voice cracks as he softly replies, "baby" again...but Laurent just stands up and as he walks past him Larry lightly grabs his arm. His eyes widen and he also jumps in surprise at Laurent's reaction. Laurent spins around and yells...

Laurent: "Let me go"!

Larry: "Baby please...." 

Laurent: "Please what?! Please forgive you for cheating?! Please forgive you for lying"?!

Larry's head goes down and he sighs in despair. Then...

Laurent: "Look at me"!

Larry jumps yet again but cautiously looks up at him...

Laurent: "I tried so hard to figure out how to make things better for us! I went crazy for that because I love you and you cheated"!

Larry is crying so hard that his breath is hitching like crazy and as he tries to speak his voice shakes too...

Larry: "I know baby and I'm sorry. I...."

Laurent: "Don't give me that shit! How would you feel if I fucked someone else Larry"?! 

Larry: "Baby, I...."

Laurent: "You know what?! I don't want to hear it"! *pause* "I can't believe this! I tried Larry! I tried to make things better and you did this"?!!

Then something else comes to him...

Laurent: "Now it all makes sense! I tried to make love to you so many times and you said no! You lied and said you didn't feel good or you were tired but all this time you were fucking someone else"!
