The gossip about me started to calm down. Everyone's moved on to a new topic.

I didn't know what it was yet since I'm always the last to find out about anything. I get all my gossip from Tyler, who I don't get to see until next period.

I sat down at my desk in the back of my math class. I don't really socialize with anyone other than my friends.

I plugged in my earphones and pulled up my hood so Mr. Green wouldn't see.

The other Mr. Green. We have two, it gets pretty confusing. One teaches English and the other teaches math.

I copied down whatever he wrote on the board without paying attention to the lesson.

I'll just go home and look up the stuff on Google when I get home. It's worked pretty well for me so far.

After his lesson on graphing curvy lines- I forgot the mathematical word for it- I stuffed my notebook back into my bag and left to my next class.

English with the other Mr. Green.

"Did you hear the rumors about Mr. Lester? Apparently he's gay!" Tyler said in low voice.

"No way!" Zoe exclaimed.

I shook my head, disappointed in my friends. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a Burn Book hidden somewhere.

"Oh and people are saying that Connor Franta tried to kill himself last night!"

This got my attention.

"What!! Why?" Zoe said trying to keep her voice down.

"Nobody really knows what happened but I heard someone say that he got admitted into the hospital this morning," Tyler whispered.

"Alfie was saying that he had to drive him home last night from practice," Zoe said.

"Ooh someones finally talking to their crush," Tyler giggled.

"You think he actually hurt himself?" I asked.

"I don't know, that's what I heard. He isn't at school today either," he shrugged

I couldn't focus for the rest of the day. What reason would someone like him try to hurt themselves? He was popular, smart, athletic, hot as fuck.

I bet he did it for attention.

I hated myself for thinking that. I hated everyone in this room for whispering about things they have no idea about.

No one knows what he must of went through to push himself to that point.

I knew the feeling all too well.

*timeskip to monday cuz i lazy*

Connor didn't say a word as he sat down across from me in art class.

A girl was whispering to her friend at the next table.

"I heard his arms are all torn up."

"I think it's all just a lie. I bet he's just taking people that for attention."

Connor flinched.

"How 'bout you two shut the fuck up and mind your own business," I hissed at them.
