Chapter 8: Waterparks

Once they all got on the boat and waved goodbye, Riker checked the crew in.

"Hi how may I help you?" the front desk lady said.

"Oh uh we're checking in under the name Lynch" Riker told the lady.

She looked down at the book and found the name.

"Here's 3 keys for 3 rooms! Have a nice cruise!" the lady said cheerfully as she gave Riker the keys.

"Thanks" he said as he turned to everyone.

"Okay me, Ratliff, and Rocky share a room, Ross and Calum share a room and the girls can share one" Riker told everyone as he handed out the keys.

They all nodded in agreement as they took they keys. Ross checked the time. It's was 9:10. The ship will take off in 5 minutes. They all got to their rooms which were all next to each other.

The girls got into their room and put their luggage on the floor.

"Okay. We need to work out sleeping arrangements!" Rydel said.

Laura, Vanessa, and Raini murmured in agreement.

"Since there is 2 beds, I think Rydel and I should have the beds and there is 2 couches so Raini and Laura can sleep on those. I mean come on, they are huge!" Vanessa told the group and pointed to the couches.

"Okay that sounds good" Raini agreed.

The girls all started unpacking. Ratliff, Riker, and Rocky, got all unpacked, and Ross and Calum did the same. Once everyone was done, it was around 11.

"RING RING" Vanessa's phone rang.

"Hello" she answered.

"Hey it's Riker" the voice on the other line said.

"Oh hi what's up?" Vanessa asked.

"Well I was thinking we could check out the water park and then eat lunch" Riker suggested.

"Sounds like fun! See you in about 10 minutes" Vanessa replied.

They hung up and Vanessa told the girls. Laura went to put on her red bikini with a brown cover up, Rydel put on her pink bikini and some shorts, Raini put a purple bikini on with a white cover up and Vanessa put on a blue bikini with a pink cover up.

They met the guys outside and walked to the pool. Laura and Ross strayed behind, walking slowly. Ross grabbed Laura's hand and swung it.

"Laura I know you heard this many times from me but I just wanted to say that I love you. I don't know what I would do without you" Ross said.

Laura looked up at him adoringly and smiled.

"I love you too. And I don't care how many times you say. I just don't want you to stop" she said.

Ross stopped her and kissed her. He just loved this girl. Nobody can change that. They still held hands as they kissed. They didn't care about a single thing. Ross and Laura broke apart, smiling. Then they ran to catch up with everybody.

Meanwhile, Riker's mind was going crazy about when he should do it. That's why he set up this little water park adventure. He looked back at Ross and Laura. They were kissing. He sighed.

Why can't I have the nerves to ask Vanessa out? He thought.

That's it. I'm going to do it soon. Riker thought again.

He looked down at Vanessa. So beautiful. He smiled as he thought of when he was going to do it.

Pretty soon, they got to the water park. No one was there so they got the pool to themselves. They all set their stuff down.The boys all jumped in. Rydel dipped her foot in to see if it was cold. It wasn't so she jumped in also. Raini got in but she didn't jump in. On the other hand, the Marano sisters were hesitant to get in. So Ross got out, picked Laura up and threw her in. Then he jumped in.

"Hah! You didn't get me in" Vanessa smiled.

"Not for long!" Riker said as he got out.

He picked her up and threw her in just like Ross did to Laura.

Now everyone was in and having a good time. Riker thought this was the perfect time to do it.

"Vanessa can you come with me?" Riker asked Vanessa as he held out his hand.

Vanessa blushed a little and took his hand. He pulled her to the little waterfall in the pool and they went under it. (like the water fall in highschool musical 2 if you ever watched it😂)

"What's wrong rik-" Vanessa started.

She got cut off my Riker kissing her. She kissed back and wrapped her arms around his neck. Riker pulled her closer and put his arms around her waist. They broke apart, smiling.

"Wanna go out with me?" Riker said, still holding onto Vanessa.

"Yeah!" Vanessa said, hugging Riker.

They stayed like that for what seemed like forever. But they didn't care. They had each other.
