Safe and Sound: Raura Story

Chapter 6: Late night fun

Ross drove back to his house after he dropped Laura off. He saw Riker unlocking house as he pulled up in the driveway. Ross got out of the car.

"Riker!" He shouted.

His brother jumped, dropping the keys.

"What the hell was that for?" Riker asked as he walked towards Ross.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you" Ross apologized.

"It's fine" Riker said.

They got in the house and they realized that no one was home. Riker found a note. It said:

Dear Ross and Riker,

We all went to dinner, including Ratliff. You can order pizza or there is leftovers in the fridge. We will be back around 8:00.
Love, Mom <3

"They went to dinner without us" Ross complained after he read the note.

"Whatever. Let's order some pizza" Riker said as he put the note down.

"Kay" Ross agreed.

Soon, they were outside eating pizza by the pool. Ross and Riker had just gone swimming and they were drying off.

"Why were you coming in the house when I came back" Ross asked.

"I was hanging out with Vanessa" Riker told him as he took a bite out of his pizza.

"Are you guys dating now" Ross asked, smiling.

"No because your girlfriend barged in when we were about to kiss" Riker said.

"Oh Laura" Ross chuckled.

"Then she felt bad and ran into a wall" Riker laughed.

Ross started to crack up. He could totally see her doing that!

"Ross! Riker! Are you out here?" they heard their mom yell.

"Yeah! We're by the pool!" Riker shouted.

Rydel walked outside where Ross and Riker were with Ratliff.

"Can we swim with you" Rydel asked.

"Sure ask rocky and ryland too"
Riker said.

"Kay! Ratliff come on!" Rydel grabbed Ratliff and went in the house.

"I'm gonna go get my swimsuit on and you should get yours" Rydel told Ratliff as soon as they were in the house.

"Okay" Ratliff said.

He turned around but Rydel stopped him.

"Wait" Rydel said as she looked to see if anyone was around.

Then, she kissed him on the cheek.
Ratliff smiled.

"Now you can go" Rydel giggled.

Rydel ran up the stairs as Ratliff left. Once she got to her room, she grabbed her phone and called Laura.
She told her that she and Ratliff were dating. Rydel just HAD to tell somebody!

Then, she put her bathing suit on and she did her hair in a messy bun.
Rydel grabbed her towel and went to go ask Rocky and Ryland if they wanted to swim. Rocky joined but Ryland didn't want to.

Pretty soon, R5 was laughing in the pool.

"Man I love swimming at night" Rydel whispered to Ratliff.

"Me too" he whispered back.

They started playing Loud and Riker and Ross started flipping in the pool.

This is so much fun! Rydel thought.

Back at the Marano's house, Laura and Vanessa were watching a funny movie after they ate dinner.

All of a sudden, Laura got a text from Stormie.

-texting-

Stormie: HEY LAURA! I WAS THINKING THAT YOU AND VANESSA WOULD LIKE TO MEET R5, RAINI, CALUM, AND I AT IHOP TOMORROW BEFORE THE CRUISE!!

Laura: that sounds great! What time?

Stormie: WELL THE CRUISE SHIP SETS SAIL AT 9:15 SO MAYBE 8:00.

Laura: sure! Seems fun😊 see you tomorrow!

Stormie: OKAY SEE YOU SOON. OH AND ROSS MISSES YOU😉

-end of conversation-

"Vanessa, we are going out to IHOP with everyone tomorrow before the cruise" Laura told her sister.

"Okay" Vanessa nodded.

Laura watched the movie but she didn't pay attention. She was too busy thinking about the cruise and Ross.
