Laura woke up to the sun blinding her eyes. She blinked a couple times and stretched her arms. She glanced over at Ross, who was still sleeping, his arm around her. Laura slid out of Ross's grasp carefully and sat up. She was the first one up.
Everyone was still sleeping peacefully. She looked over at Riker and Vanessa and something caught her eye. She crawled over to examine it. It was a ukulele. Picking it up, she gasped in awe. It was beautiful. On the back was carved: Riker, Ross, Rocky, Ell, Vanessa, Laura, Raini, Calum in small letters. Suddenly she heard Ross yawn.
"Laura, watcha doin?" Ross groggily said, looking over at her. She giggled and put the ukulele down. Laura went back to Ross as he sat up. She sat next to him and he put his arm around her.
"I was just looking at Riker's ukulele," she stated. Ross nodded.
"He's been working on that for a long time," he said. They stayed like that for a long time, watching the sea until everyone got up.

"Alright guys, come here," Riker said as he sat down on a log. He was holding his ukulele. Everyone wandered towards him. Pretty soon, they were all gathered around him.
"I have a song for you," he grinned. Rocky sighed.
"Really? Dude. Why are you being so freaking lighthearted about this? We're dying out here!" Rocky shouted. He was pretty uptight. Rydel laid a hand on him to calm him down.
Riker started strumming his ukulele.
"This song is supposed to make you feel loved," he smiled. Then he started to sing.

"Today,

"Oh! I know this song!" Ross whispered to Laura. He joined in. When he did, Riker smiled.

As the two boys sang, everyone was trying not to hold back a smile. But they couldn't. This song was too cheerful. They all joined in.

By then they were shouting this song on the top of their lungs happily.
Suddenly, they were interrupted by a startling noise.

I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING! I'm so sorry. There's just been way too many things going on right now that's been stressing me out. I've had no motivation. And recently I wanted to run away. I don't know why. I've just been in this slump.
The next chapter is coming out in about 10 minutes! After that, I will be constructing my sequel to this (Summertime Sadness). That will be up soon.
The song is called Love is Easy and it's by Mcfly. I used that song bc that's Riker's favorite band😋
