Chapter 18: Making Up

Once the tribe left, the kids let out a sigh of relief. Riker stood up and turned to the group. They noticed that he was bleeding from a cut under his eye.

"Riker, your bleeding," Vanessa told him as she came closer to him. He touched the wound gently and saw the blood on his finger.

"Oh," he said simply. He took off his sweatshirt and took the sleeve and wiped the blood off of his face. "There, all better," he said. The group stood there in silence for a bit. Riker spoke up again.

"Alright, I guess that this is our new spot. So we should go back to our jobs. Ratliff, go with Rydel. Ross and Laura, your going to lookout. I don't care that Laura hates you, Ross, you're working together," Riker told them. Laura groaned and rolled her eyes and Ross just looked down.

"Fine," Laura finally said. Riker nodded and the group split up again. Laura started to take off her sweatshirt, because she was hot. She had on a white crop top on and blue jean shorts. She walked over to the shore again and watched the sea. That was her favorite thing now.

Ross sat on a rock behind her. He studied her while they both sat in silence. Suddenly, Laura spoke.

"Ross stop looking at me," she said without turning around. Ross sighed and jumped off the rock. He came and sat down next to Laura, her eyes never leaving the water.

"Laura, I know you don't want to talk me and I know you hate me and I'm sorry about what I had done. But I still love you. It hard to watch someone that you love hate you. It's okay if you slap me or something, I deserve that. We're going to die out here, so why can't we go back to friends, or start over, you know?" Ross heartfully said.

He thought Laura was going to ignore him or say some nasty thing, but she did the opposite. She attacked him with a hug. Laura buried her head in his chest. Ross was about to say something, but Laura cut him off.

"Ross I am so sorry. I know I still love you. I never stopped. I never cared about someone so much, so it hit me hard. I am sorry. I want to go back to the way we were, back to the way we were on the ship. Ross I still love you," Laura said, crying into his chest. Ross put an arm around her back and hugged back. He kissed the top of her head.

"Don't be sorry. It's my fault. But let's forget about this, okay?" he whispered. Laura nodded and looked back up at Ross. They stared at each other and started to lean in. Their lips connected knowing that they have forgiven each other.

so for drama club, I have to dance with a boy and I'm not happy about it and it better not be the person who I used to like cuz I would be like "ew don't touch me" ugh I hate my life sometimes. and also everyone is starting to date in my school and I know that nobody likes me...

Sorry about that rant but y'all have problems in school.
