Chapter 5: Beautiful & Barging in

Laura walked to the Lynch's house and knocked on their door. Riker opened it.

"Hey Laura! Come on in" Riker said.

Laura got in and gave Riker a friendly hug.

"Hey Riker! How are you?" she asked him.

"Good. Are you here for Ross?" he asked Laura.

She nodded.

"Ross! Laura's here for you" Riker shouted upstairs.

"Coming!" Ross shouted back.

A couple seconds later, Ross came running down the stairs. He had blue jeans, a yellow t-shirt, and a black blazer. He walked towards his girlfriend and hugged her.

"Hey Laura" he greeted her.

"Hey" she replied.

They stood there awkwardly as Riker watched him.

"Riker" Ross murmured.

"Oh sorry. I am going to leave now" he told them as he walked away.

"Sorry about that" Ross smiled.

"It's fine" Laura giggled.

"We should get going now" he told her.

Ross grabbed Laura's hand and walked out of the door.

"So will you tell me where we are going?" Laura asked sweetly,

"Not yet" Ross smirked.

They walked to his car and got in.

"First, you have to put this on" he told Laura as he handed her a blindfold.

"Uh okay" Laura giggled.

After Laura put on the blindfold, Ross started the car. About 5 minutes in the car, they finally arrived at the place.

"Can I take off the blindfold now?" Laura whined playfully.

"Nope" Ross chuckled.

"Then how am I supposed to get out of the car?" Laura questioned.

"I'm gonna help you. But I have to get some things out of the car. Just wait here" Ross said as he got out of the car.

Laura waited patiently until she heard her door open. Ross grabbed her hand and lead her to some place.

It feels like we are going up a hill, Laura thought.

"Stand here" Ross said.

Laura nodded and stood there.

"Okay I'm gonna take your blindfold off!" Ross told her.

Laura giggled as Ross gently took the blindfold off her.

Ross quickly ran in front of her and outstretched his arms. Laura gasped at the sight.

They were on a little hill and Ross has set a little picnic under a tree.

"Oh my gosh Ross you are so sweet!" Laura exclaimed as she hugged him.

"I know" Ross said playfully.

They sat down and ate their lunch, and Ross remembered something.

"Laura I have to show you something" Ross said.

He took Laura's hand and lead her to a little pond. There was flowers around the pond. The grass was perfectly green. It was beautiful.

"Oh Ross-" she started.
