Chapter 17: Running & Relief

"Find the others, we aren't the only ones on the island."

"What?" Laura and Ratliff asked simultaneously. They both stood up from wear they were standing. Riker nodded.

"Go find everyone! I'll hold them off," he said, waving his hand towards Ratliff and Laura.

"Who's them?" Laura asked, not budging. Riker looked exasperated.

"Dangerous people, now go!" he ordered. At the sound of Riker's voice, Ratliff and Laura ran.

"Raini! Vanessa! Rocky!" Laura shouted as she ran.

"Ross! Calum! Rydel! Get out of the jungle!" Ratliff shouted like Laura. Pretty soon, everyone calmly came from different spots, clearly confused.

"What's wrong? Where's Riker? Why were you guys running?" Ross asked innocently while Ratliff and Laura stopped running.

"We aren't alone. I don't know who, but some dangerous people are on this island," Ratliff started. He was interrupted by Riker's voice.

"What are you guys doing? I told you to run! I couldn't hold them off any longer. They're coming," Riker said, sounding scared.

"Who is them!?" Laura asked again. Riker took a glance over his shoulder and saw them coming.

"Them," he uttered as he pointed to the people. They were dressed in tribe type clothes with markings all over their face. They were big, and holding weapons.

"Oh. My. Goodness," Rydel said in disbelief. The tribe came closer and suddenly approached them. They were at least a foot taller than all of them and they had their weapons ready to kill. All of a sudden, Riker did something so un-Rikerish. He fell down to his knees and the tribe looked a bit confused.

"Please, please, please, don't kill us. We mean no harm. We were stranded on this island from a boat crash," Riker begged. The tribe relaxed their arms with their weapons.

"I never see you again," the head tribe man grunted, and he left. The rest of the tribe followed him, but gave the kids a glare.

Jays not gone forever...

So I had track today and I hurt my ankles and my breathing is shaky and we ran in 30 degree weather. It's march. I mean like come on!

I feel really bad for my best friend. The guy that she likes turns out is dating one of my other friends. Awh poor bestie. ( I won't give her name ).
