Chapter 7: Goodbyes

"BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP"

Laura opened her eyes slightly to the noise.

What is going on? She thought.

Then she remembered! Today was the cruise! Laura jumped up and shut off her alarm. It was 6:45 am. She and Vanessa were supposed to meet the Lynch's and Raini and Calum at IHOP before the cruise.

Laura ran over to her sister's room and pounded on the door.

"Vanessa wake up! Today's the cruise!" Laura shouted.

A couple seconds later, she heard footsteps to the door. Vanessa opened it quickly.

"Why are you shouting? The cruise goes off at 9:15! Why are we up at 6:45?" Vanessa questioned frustratedly.

"We're meeting everyone at IHOP before the cruise at 8! I was thinking we would have more time for getting ready!" Laura fired back.

"Oh. I forgot! Let me get ready!" Vanessa said.

Laura rolled her eyes and walked back to her room.

Vanessa can be an idiot... Laura thought.

She walked into her bathroom and brushed her hair. Then she put on a purple flowy top and black leggings with converse.

Then she got her luggage and her pillow and carried it out of the room. Pretty soon, Vanessa came out wearing a blue v-neck t-shirt and skinny jeans. They both put their luggage in the trunk of Vanessa's car and drive to IHOP. By then it was 7:50.

Stormie and the kids were waiting for the Marano sisters, Raini and Calum to show up at IHOP.

Rocky, Rydel, and Ratliff were sitting on the bench, Ross was standing there tiredly waiting for his girlfriend, Riker was leaning against the wall, wondering why they had to be up so early, and Stormie was just standing and smiling, unlike the kids who were exhausted from last night.

Vanessa and Laura pulled up in the parking lot and walked up to the Lynch's. They both waved and they waved back. Laura went to Ross and gave him a hug and Vanessa walked up to Riker.

"Hello girls! How are you?" Stormie greeted.

"Good" they both said.

"I am so tired" Ross whispered to Laura as he kissed her head.

"I know" Laura whispered back.

Pretty soon, Raini and Calum showed up and they all went into IHOP. Once they got their seats, they all kind of sat there is silence because they were absolutely so tired.

The Lynch's were tired because of the late night swimming. They swam until 1 am and then had to pack. The sisters were exhausted because they stayed up all night watching movies and talking. Who knows what Raini and Calum were doing that made them so tired.

After they ate, they went to the dock to go on the cruise.

"Oh I am going to miss you guys so much!" Stormie exclaimed, giving everyone a back breaking hug.

"We'll miss you too" Ross said.

They all got on the boat and gave their final wave to Stormie.

-so sorry for not updating. And sorry about this chapter. It's a filler chapter. But, you will like the next chapter :) school starts in 2 days (it would have started today and I would have had school tomorrow but it's a snow day!!) so in 2 days, I won't be updating a lot.
