I don't swim in money nor
Do I have a thirst of it.
I come where the sun is at noon,
Under the luminous city lights
Outshining the bright blue moon.I stand beside the reflective panes
Of a plaza with McDs, lee,
Malls and cinema halls.
It feels as if everything has stopped around me.At the moment I feel as one from
The valley of slums,
As a rich corporate man in a black tux comes.Sporting a sunglass on a settled night
Sweating, tense and cocky as if raring for a fight.
Probably drowns in an abundance of cash but couldn't afford a smile it seems. The next jiffy I am Mr Gates,
As arrives a begging woman with a horde of children behind,
With her man left or dead,
Scanning the throwaways for the tender mouths to grind.A small offering of smoked peanuts was accepted by arms jut, smiles and laughs all around,
Fun unconquered by the man munching the meat between the bun.So how much is a smile really worth?
