We try many things,
We try to be rebellious,
We try to prove our worth
Despite elephants reteaching us humanity.
From the bite of an exorbitantly expensive apple
To our acts of foolish rebelliousness today.
The swagger with which we walk
Until we stub our toes on sofa legs
The 'do not spit' signboard becomes a spittoon
A 'Photography prohibited' place becomes a selfie hotspot
The outlaws who park their metallic horses in the 'no parking zone',
Are so cool-
Till they whine as the traffic police seizes their vehicles
We may be the only species,
Who rid our walls of stupid posters
By painting a big 'Stick no bills' on the walls
And we do play slightly serious
Games here and there,
Like missile-missile, international hide and seek
And my favourite- political debates!
I hope aliens
Play their version of musical chairs
And the music stops on earth...
