Neanderthals weren't xenophobic-
Else they wouldn't have perished
This is our world and everyone else is wasting oxygen
'Our' and 'Else'
Monosyllabic-polydividing words
What are we but sculptures of sand,
Permutations and combinations of atoms,
Born from the seeds sown in Africa,
Crops of which we corrupt ourselves
The flesh on our same skeletons
Meant to celebrate diversity,
Ends up as preachers of differences
That skin our flesh of wit
I'm sure our heads are hollow
With presumed lightness that floats us
To the assumed cloud nine,
Which in fact is the last circle
Of Dante's inferno,
And even if our skulls are filled,
Our cranium doesn't protect brain
But store blood boiled with hate
For us but not us...
