Niall's POV:

An ugly loser. She really meant it. It shouldn't hurt this much, but it did. I had been called worse, but this time it was different. I really thought she had changed. Guess I was wrong. I was just sitting in my car. I didn't know where to go now. I had expected her to give me a good explanation and I thought I would be sitting with my arms around her now. But instead I was sitting alone. Hurt and confused. "Fuck off Niall" was the last thing she said before slamming the door in my head. Why had I ever believe that she cared about me? I tried to think of something else and started the car. I drove to town and parked it next to a big. white building. I didn't even realize where I was until I heard a voice calling my name. I turned around and saw Debby running towards me.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" she asked.

"I actually don't know. I just drove and ended up here... And you?"

"I work out, this is my gym" she said and pointed to the white building in front of us.

"Oh"

"Are you okay? You seem upset"

"Yeah, but it's nothing" I said. I didn't want to tell her about all this. Alex had probably already told her about us and Debby would just laugh if she knew how I felt about it.

"C'mon Niall, I'm a girl. I can tell that you're lying. Let me buy you some coffee and you can tell me what's wrong" she said and stroked my arm.

"I'd rather not. And weren't you about to hit the gym?" I asked.

"Yeah but I can do that tomorrow. C'mon there's a great coffee shop a little down the street" Debby said and I finally gave in and followed her. Maybe it would be nice to just talk to someone. And she seemed more normal today than she usually was. She talked a lot on the way to the coffee shop, and when we got our coffee as well. But it didn't bother me, because I needed to get my thoughts away from Alex.

"Are you not gonna tell me what's wrong at all?" she suddenly asked. I shook my head.

"Niall, I know you're a great guy. Please let me help you" she sighed.

"Okay" I said and decided to tell her a lie. I wasn't gonna mention Alex at all.

"Well, there's this girl... From my old school. We were dating and she really seemed to like me, and I liked her back. But suddenly one morning after we slept together, she was gone. I found her at her own house and she told me that she hated me and that she never wanted to see me again. I'm really confused because I don't know what I did wrong. She gave me no explanation" I said. Debby looked at me like she felt really bad for me. She put her hand on mine.

"Forget her Niall. She sounds like a bitch. I know it's hard, but try to find someone else... Maybe Alex?" she suggested. I looked away at the mention of Alex' name.

"You would make a really cute couple" she said. I tried to smile. Of course she meant it in a good way, but right now it only made it worse.

"No we're too different. And besides, I think she has something going on with Zayn" I said.

"What?!" she almost yelled.

"But I just went on a date with him yesterday!" she said. I knew Alex hated Zayn, but right now I was so hurt and mad at her that I wanted people to hate her. And this was the way to create girl drama.

"That's weird, because I think she fooled around with him at your party. She hasn't told you that?"

"No.. Oh my god, she's such a bitch! That's why she didn't seem happy about me dating him!"
