in all popular stories, the boyfriend does a list of (very cliché) things. here's a list:
-writes a song for the girl.
-carries the girl to bed and changes her into her pajamas.
-buys her really expensive things.
-prepares and gives her a full-on spa treatment with no knowledge of beauty and pampering whatsoever.
-cheats on her with other girls even though he claims "she's the only one for me."
-"that girl is my friend, i swear. you have nothing to worry about."
-"but baby, you're different from the other girls."
-"take off your makeup, you look much better without it."
-starts a tickle fight
-starts a fight with other boys who are trying to hit "on his girl."
-purposely forgets a you-know-what but gets mad when the girlfriend says that she's pregnant.
-buys pricy lingerie for his girlfriend to add on to her gigantic collection.
-gets arrested
-or gets in a deadly car crash
-or commits suicide
-or has had a really rough past and saves it up for an emotional breakdown in the middle of the story.
-feeds the girl food and ends up having a food fight.
you know you gotta clean that up, right?
