i swear, not every school is North Shore High School. (if you get that reference ily)
not every school has a group of popular girls who's only mission is to ruin the main girl's life. not every "popular girl" rolls in cash or cheats on her boyfriend. heck, the popular girl at my school doesn't even have a boyfriend and she's honestly hilarious. one of the best people i've ever met.
not every school has a large group of hot, buff jocks that throw parties and swoon over hot girls. not every jock is rich and drives an expensive sports car. my school barely even has "jocks." sure, we have athletic people, but we call them sports players.
i am considered a "smart person." i am on the academic team, in the band, and i'm taking advanced classes. we aren't nerds. we don't all wear glasses and suspenders. we don't all have braces and some of us aren't afraid to use our voices.
