Ezra's POV
I looked up. A little girl was looking at me. She must have been 4 at the time. Her brown hair was in little pigtails and she was wearing a old ripped up shirt that was to big for her that went over her knees. Behind was a boy who appeared to be my age. His brown hair looked like it was cut so he could join the army. He was wearing ripped up blue jeans and a ripped brown shirt. Neither of them were wearing shoes.
"Are you okay?" She asked again. I went to nod but, was cut off by my stomach growling.
"Do you some food? We have some extra yogins from the market." The boy stated holding out a yogin. I took it quickly. Once I finished I realized they were still looking at me.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"He can talk." The little boy joked.
"See I told you Galen. He can talk!" The little girl stated with a grin.
"Well I'm Gaylin and this is my half-sister Morgana." Gaylin answered\corrected his little sister."So now that you know us why don't you tell us who you are."
"I'm Ezra. How old are you?"
"I'm seven and she's four and a half. Why how old are you?"
"I'm seven. So where are your parents."
"Dad got sick last year and died. My mom died when I was born but, Morgana's mom left when she was only a couple months old. No one knows what happened to her. So what about your parents?"
"The empire took them away two days ago. I have no one to help me now."
"Sure you do" I looked up after he said these words."You have us. Well if we can stay." Should I let them stay? I did just met them. Then again I always wanted siblings.
"You can stay." I stated.
"YAY!!" Morgana screamed. "We can be like the musketeers but, as kids and one of us is a girl!" I smiled. At least I won't be alone again.
