Ezra's POV
I woke up to see a bright white light. Am I in heaven?
"EZY!" Morgana screamed as she jump on top of me pulling me into a hug. I definitely wasn't dead. Otherwise Morgana wouldn't be there. Unless she left the house. She better not have. Otherwise she's going to die again.
"Morgana where are we?" I asked. She looked up with a smile.
"We're back on the ghost." She answered. Then I remember something. Gaylin.
"Morgana where's-" I was cut off by the door opening to reveal my brother. I gasped once I saw him. His left arm was gone. In it's place was a shiny, silver robotic one. He smiled.
"How was the nap sleeping beauty?" He giggled. Just then Hera ran up behind him.
"Gaylin, you have to head back to bed until you get better. You need all the energy you can get."She stated with her arms crossed. Her gaze fell on me.
"Ezra it's nice to see you up again." She smiled.
"How long was I out?" I asked. She sighed.
"Two weeks." She answered.
"Wow. That long?" She nodded. Wow. I slept for two weeks straight. That's officially the longest nap I have ever taken. Morgana ran off with Gaylin leaving me and Hera by ourselves.
"You could have told us about your parents." She stated. I sighed.
"How'd you find out?"
"After you two came here we went to pick up your sister, your mom wasn't there. So I just guessed the rest. You didn't have to lie. We would have let you stayed."
"No you wouldn't have."
"Why is that?"
"WE'RE STREET RATS OKAY. NO ONE HELPS US EVER. ALL THEY DO IS HATE US FOR TRYING TO SURVIVE BECAUSE WE STEAL. EVEN THOUGH WE DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY WHAT SO EVER!"I yelled. Hera looked at me not with hatred in her eyes but, with a look of kindness. It almost seemed like she understood what it was like to live like this. That's when I snapped back to real.
"We're use to it." I mumbled. She pulled me into a hug.
"Well if you stay here I promise we won't treat you like that. You can have three meals a day. You'll each have a bed and people will buy things like clothes for you so you don't have to dumpster dive for things." She stated. I hugged her back.
"I'd like that."
