Woken to a Past Shadow

I ran behind a tree for some unknown reason.it was an afternoon,the sun showing the gold patterns of the field.It seemed I saw my parents holding hands,my mom alive,apparently my sister wasn't born yet.Looking to the ground it was now the carpet at my house.I looked behind me the robbers were there. My mother and my sister's had the lights in their eyes burned out.I panicked and saw the whole thing,it was all so slow to me as if timed stopped itself,it was as if my feet were covered in cement.The 2 bullets,the damn bullets.I now saw it all happen, I ran to go to them. I touched my mom but now I'm touching a cold gravestone...

"No...no....MOMMY,SISTER PLEASE PLEASE COME BACK.MOMMY,SISSY!"I started crying and putting my hands on my ears,my chest was tight,I was awoken By firm hands on my arms.I quickly opened my eyes to see soda looking at me.I was breathing heavily and wide eyed.Two sat by my side rubbing my shoulders.I felt tense they were all sitting or standing around me.Tears began to fall,I hugged Soda's chest as tears were really falling like cats and dogs. He wrapped his arms around me.I never felt so secured.I just closed my eyes and calmed down.I rubbed my eyes.and apologized.And told them my nightmare.

"I'm sorry guys.I have to go outside and get some air."I said patting sodas chest and standing up and grabbing my sweater.

I rubbed my eyes and looked up and opened the door.apparently I slapped in it was afternoon.
I stepped out and walked down the block. Couple of minutes later I went to a giant tree.I then started climbing it and sat on the highest sturdiest branch.

Taking a deep breath I looked over to the street.Seeing people walk, mainly greasers,since of course we were in greaser territory.
I then slowly closed my eyes,since very tired of crying and kinda a lack of sleep.
I thought of how nice these boys were to me.So kind and caring,i've never felt like this in years...it felt very good.very good...

"SARA!SARRRRRAAAAA!"I yelled.she's been gone for hours and hours.we were dead wondering of where she was at.Many theories filled our heads.Her dad might have found her and took her.A soc jumped her maybe.the possibilitys are endless.
I looked all around me,no sign.We ran a few blocks down,a couple of minutes later we arrived at a grassy area with a giant tree,and found the sleeping princess.

"Found her!"Johnny said pointing up.

I looked up.

"How the hell did she climb up there?"Two said.

I shrugged and yelled her name.

"Hey Sara! Sara!Doll face!"

I looked down while rubbing my eyes and yawned.

"Get down her sleeping beauty!"Two said.

"I'm coming...im coming."I said stretching.
I came down while yawning.as my feet hit the ground I went and walked forward without looking at the boys.I looked behind me.

"Well come on 7 dwarfs! You don't want the evil queen known as my dad to come and see me right now do you?"I said.

They just looked at each other and shrugged.

as I was now calm and at peace.I looked down Watching my every step I took,until I froze and looked at 2 dark brown shoes and light brown pants.
"Oh no",I thought.I slowly looked up.I didn't recognize this type of soc before.nor it wasn't my dad,thank God.I heard the boys stop in there track behind me.

"I heard beauty was good with a knife."he said in a devious tone.

I wasn't scared.I looked at him with a serious face.and nodded.

"Get the hell out of here Rodger.She doesn't want to talk to you."Darry said stepping in front of me.

"Let him."I said looking at Darry.He then nodded and stepped back.
