Chapter 21: We Come in Peace

"Haha, look at this guy's belly!" Joked a little Hispanic boy who popped out from behind a tree. The kid pointed at Duncan's belly. The bottom of it hung below the bottom of his shirt.

An African American girl stepped out of the woods and shouted at the boy. "Carlos!"

Duncan's feelings weren't hurt because he was too stunned at seeing the Magic School Bus kids in real life. Duncan pulled off his hat and put it over his heart, knelt down, and said, "We come in peace!"

"Stop there, mate!" Yelled an Australian girl. She flipped through a book quickly, then said, "Ok, I give up. Who are you and why are you here?"

"Wait a minute," said Rainbow. "Are you like ... filming right now?"

"We stopped filming a long time ago," said a bespectacled Jewish boy who walked out of the woods. A chameleon sat on the Jewish boy's shoulder but hopped onto the African American girl's shoulder.

"What is it, Liz?" The girl asked the chameleon.

It pointed at Bash's group and then pointed in the direction behind the group of kids.

The girl looked at Rainbow and said, "We need you to come with us."

"And who are you?" Asked Rainbow.

"Oh, sorry, I'm Keesha Franklin. Our owner, Ms. Frizzle, wants to meet you."

Bash considered the word "owner" and thought it really should be "teacher", but he forgot about it when Lance asked, "Are you taking us to The Magic School Bus?"

"Yep!" Exclaimed Carlos.

"Stop!" Yelled the Australian girl. "Who are you and why are you here?"

"We live in the apartments above this place," said Bash. "We just got lost and want to go home."

"Who doesn't?" Murmured the Jewish boy as he straightened his glasses.

The bus grill actually smiled at Rainbow as she boarded the Magic School Bus.

"Hello Everyone," said Ms. Frizzle, who sat at the very back of the bus.

They all said hello and told her how much they liked watching the TV show "The Magic School Bus" in elementary school.

"We need to get home," said Bash.

"And we were thinking," said Duncan.

"They want to use the bus!" Exclaimed Keesha. Keesha hugged one of the bus seats and said, "It's been so long since we went anywhere".

"And you're not going anywhere!" Shrieked Ms. Frizzle. Her voice was so high pitched and hateful that Bash got goosebumps.

"Why?!" Begged Keesha. "Why do you want to keep us down here?!"

"No one is going anywhere!" Yelled Ms. Frizzle. She looked at Bash and said, "No one".

"But why, Miss, why?!" Cried Duncan. "I miss pizza!"

"Because you," said Ms. Frizzle, "all of you have a bounty on your head. And I intend to get it."

Bash looked around to try to escape, but several of the kids had them locked inside the bus.

Ms. Frizzle watched Bash look around until he realized they were trapped. Then she looked him in the eye and said, "You're going right back to Chef Sherlock."

This is what I used as a guide while writing this chapter:

G. Meet them peacefully and convince Ms. Frizzle to help them fly out

C. They find themselves captured. She refuses. Ms. Frizzle is actually evil - She was all stuckup about her role in the show and then acted like it was reality

D. there's a bounty on their heads so they're being taken back to the people they escaped from
