Today was the day. The day that I've been waiting for for about 6 and 1/2 years. The day the cast has been waiting for.
Broadway.
Hamilton was opening at the Richard Rogers Theatre tonight.
*After the show*
As we took our bows, we all smiled and shared tears of happiness. All this hard work had payed off. I was so relieved.
We all had to quickly change out of our costumes because there was a party to celebrate our opening.
The venue was the perfect place to spend a joy filled night with all of my favorite people.
Pippa and I got split up pretty quickly because of all the people and the constant questions being asked by interviewers.
I looked towards where everyone was getting their pictures taken and I saw Pippa. She looked stunning. Then again, she always looks stunning. But my jaw dropped when I saw her.
I quickly made my way up to the photographers and Leslie who plays Aaron Burr pulled me in and we took a photo.

The party was one of the best parties I've ever been to. The food was fantastic, the music blew my mind, the fireworks were beautiful, but it was the people that made it the most enjoyable.
I found Pippa and smiled. "Well, if it isn't my beautiful girlfriend" I said before I softly kissed her.
She giggled and smiled. "Wow, look at you! You clean up nice" she winked and wrapped her arms around my neck.
I smiled and held her close to me as we watched the fireworks.
By 10:00, the whole cast was tired. Most of them had already went home, which was a good idea, seeing as we had two shows tomorrow and i didn't want anyone hung over.
"We should be heading back now, love" Pippa said to me as she took one last swig of her drink. I nodded and smiled. "Yes, let's get going"
*at the apartment*
I was sitting up in the bed, reading a book, and waiting for Pippa to come back from putting Sebastian to bed.
She entered the room and smiled. "He was fussy tonight, but I sang to him and he calmed down" she said as she flopped on the bed and cuddled into my side.
I smiled and kissed her head.
I set my book down and laid down, holding Pippa close to me. She smiled and kissed my jawline.
"Thank you for giving me this opportunity.. thank you for giving me a chance.. thank you for believing in me.. thank you for loving me.. thank you for being yourself.. I love you. I love you, so much." Pippa said as she looked at me with her kind glittering eyes.
I smiled and gave her a quick squeeze. "Pippa, you don't need to thank me! You're a natural on that stage. You're at natural at loving people. I love you with all my heart and more."
We smiled at each other and she shut off the light.
"Good night, my dearest Lin."
"Good night, my dearest Pippa."
