Ezra's POV

I was in the kitchen making pancakes when I heard Aria coming downstairs

"Good morning beaut..."

"Not today." She interrupted me taking the glass and using some juice from fridge. She sat for the table and her Granny looked confused at us

"Have you two been fighting?" She asked

"No." Aria and I said at the same time. Granny was more confused than before. I looked at Aria raising my eyebrows what meant that she needs to tell her

"I can't tell her that." She said

"Do you want me to tell her? She needs to know." I said and Aria was just about to tell something but Granny was faster "OMG are you pregnant?" I looked at Aria

"Told you she needs to know." I said and Aria smiled

"Your mom is going to kill me." Granny said. Aria and I both started to laugh

"No she won't. That's not what's going on but I can't talk about it." Aria said

"You're not pregnant? God you scared me so much. No more jokes like that." Granny said as she walked out. Aria came next to me and sat on the counter. I stand in front of her as I used her hands in mine

"You need to tell her." I said and Aria looked away

"But Ez.."

"No buts Aria. If you don't I will." I said. She kissed me

"Something is burning." Granny said and I looked

"My pancakes." I said with sad smile and I heard Aria laugh

"There's my smiling Aria." I said squeezing her cheek

"Not for long." She said as she jumped off the counter

"Granny we need to talk." Aria said and sat across her grandma

"I guess my parents haven't told you but before 5 months Alison died. Actually today is exactly 5 months and that's why I'm not in the mood for anything." Aria said and tears started to build in her eyes. I guess she really misses her. Granny hugged her and Aria cried on her shoulder

"I miss her." Aria said still crying

"I'm so sorry sweetie." Granny said. This broke my heart. Aria was standing there crying in her Granny's embrace and I could just watch. After some time Aria pulled away. She wiped her tears and left in her room

"Can you try to take her mind off of Alison?" Granny asked

"I will try but I'm not sure. It's really hard to do that." I said and Granny nod

"Go up. She needs you. I will take care of pancakes." Granny said. I went in Aria's room. She was laying on the bed facing the wall. You could hear soft sobs. I laid next to her as I wrapped my arms around her tiny body. She turned around and buried her head in my chest

"Thank you..... For being here." Aria said and I just hugged her more tight. I needed to be closer to her

"When will this past? Me missing her this much." She asked

"You lost a dear friend Aria. You will never be all over her. You will always miss her. You will always have an empty spot in your heart. That spot will always belong to her. Just like it always did. You won't be able to forget her so easy. Actually you will always remember her but one day when the time comes you will see her again. You two will compensate the time you two didn't get to spend together on this world. I think that's why we go in the other world when we die. To spend forever with people we want to spend. And that's when will you stop to miss her. Unfortunately you will have to wait for that but it will come sooner than you expect. But when you go there you will never be able to come back. You will be with her forever and nothing will separate you again." By the time I finished my little story Aria was asleep. I stopped to rub her back and kissed the top of her head

"Don't stop. I love it. It makes me calm." Aria whispered. I guess she wasn't asleep. I started to rub her back again

"Do you want me to tell you a goodnight story?" I asked and she smiled a little

"It's 10am." She said

"Okay. Do you want a bedtime story?" I asked and she nod

"You can try." She said. I used Pookie from her nightstand and put it in her hand. She smiled a little. God this girl is so strong. I wouldn't be able to leave house any day and she's like this just when the time of Alison's anniversary come. I would be destroyed every day

"Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess. She had brown hair and beautiful hazel eyes. She had a good heart and she was always ready to help people. Her parents told her to find her prince charming. Every prince loved her but she didn't love any of them. One day that princess desperately needed coffee and she went in the café. On her way out she bumped into an older prince she never saw before. She spilled his coffee on him. The princess felt really bad for ruining his clothes so she started to apologize but prince interrupted her. Their eyes met and the prince immediately fall in love. Her eyes were the most beautiful eyes he ever saw but unfortunately the princess was in hurry and he didn't even get to ask her for her name. Prince couldn't get the picture of hazel eyes out of his head. He tried the hardest to find her again. One day he was walking down the street and he bumped into princess again. He asked her for the name and she said Aria. From that day Aria was his favorite name and hazel eyes became his favorite thing in the world. He could stare in them for hours to not get bored. From that day prince and princess started to hang out and on the end they got married. Princess finally found her prince charming and they spend the rest of their lives together. The end." I said

"I like the end." Aria said. I kissed the top of her head as we spend the rest of the day telling bedtime stories just to keep her mind off of Alison
