Amelia smiled as she tried to ease her nerves. She had a feeling as though something big is about to happen. She discarded it with the reason that this pack is bigger than the Ranger pack. She had heard that the school was also huge. Yeah! That was why she was nervous. Not that she wanted to make an impression she just wanted to blend in she surely did not need the recap of how she became famous in her previous school if you even consider that. Though that was the sole reason why everybody started to respect and admire her to look past the fact she was born a rogue.
Amelia while pondering went to stand near the window of her bedroom. She looked down to see a young couple walking hand in hand. She was sure they were mates. A sigh left her lips as she thought about mates. Only when a both the mates are mature mentally can they find each other. That is where the mating pull comes into effect. In some cases it can take years to find a mate because the other is not ready or not even born yet. They are perfect for each other. Each other’s better halves. Completing each other and then they do not want anything else in this world till their pubs come into this world. The male recognizes the female through a touch, speech, look or smell based on pure instinct. It is confirmed when they are in their wolf form. All the doubts and uncertainty blows away. It is differs from person to person. The moment the male recognizes her, the female knows it is her mate sub-consciously but will not acknowledge the fact. The male has to take the first step in 99 out of 100 cases. In many cases the female fights against it due to overwhelming emotions. That is a natural defense instinct to find that the person is real/worthy/true or not. And then the female accepts the male. It is not a fairytale though they have their ups and downs. In very few cases it can be vice-versa also against the popular belief among the elders.
Though she loved her parents. Amelia was longing for a mate who could accept her. Who could know her in and out. With who she could share her happiness and sorrow with. Whose responsibilities she could share. She was day dreaming again. She had zoned out the uproar of the arrogant beauties down in the kitchen for breakfast. They couldn’t cook at all as they refuse to learn. It was a two story house. The first was accommodated by Mara and Jazz as Jasmine was liked to be called. The second floor was hers’ with the spare bedroom converted into a kitchen. There was space between the kitchen and her bedroom turned into the living room, which was rarely used by her. Alpha had requested her to stay here while giving her privacy of her own. The real reason for the Alpha’s courtesy was unknown to her. It was the Luna’s idea for some reassurance that they would be safe and Amelia would report to them if they misbehave.
Amelia shook her head. Now, is not the time to relive past memories or think about the future. She needed to get ready for the first day of her last year in high school in a new pack between unknown faces. She sighed, forced herself away from the window. She had been staring into oblivion. She wore a huge grey knitted shirt with black leggings. With her naturally slightly wavy dark brown hair into a neat ponytail. Her face bare and black canvas on her feet. She took her bag and made her way to school. It was a ten minute walk and four minute in wolf speed.
Wow! Was the only thing that came to Amelia’s mind when she saw the school building. It was huge and beautiful. There were many people buzzing around. The atmosphere was light and friendly. She was getting positive vibes from the place which made her smile. She was very good at interpreting people. Maybe she could blend right in and it wouldn’t be that bad anyway. She did not know what fate had in store for her.
She made her way in towards where she guessed was the office considering there weren’t many people near that area of the building. People started noticing her, a new face walking in. Wolf memory was pretty good and people instantly knew she was new. Even though there might be many who they have never spoken to but at least they remember the faces if not the name. But the asshats were right behind her as they stole the limelight much to Amelia’s relief. They had made a grant entry in their flashy car, zooming in to the parking lot. The power they radiated drew everyone’s attention to them. She rolled her eyes not wanting to see them, did not halt in her confident strides.
One particular group though was intrigued by her as she made eye contact with everyone. They could feel her nervousness. She did not flatter even once. But she was strong and smart as she knew they radiated power. The Alphas’ and Betas’ children. It was natural for them to be friends as it reduced conflicts to a large extent for power. They weren’t the Alpha and Beta though. So, Amelia did not cower away from them.

I don't take credit for the pic. It is from pinterest. And yeah! Imagine her hair as dark brown and not blond. I dont have anything against that though, just to clear the confusion.
