Chapter 17: I am the Shadow!

"The truth is much worse then you think it is. The truth about him could possibly kill someone."

For a moment there, they thought they could be happy without any new treats being thrown to their way but it was exactly the opposite. They were in terrible danger, all of them were in great danger and only one person is able to save them but God knows if he wants to help anyone after that terrible night where he had to take someone else's life. They just woke up and went to the kitchen to eat breakfast but as soon as Amber went down the stairs she heard a noise outside. She sniffed the air and growled at the smell of hunters. Two of them, she could hear only two heart beats. They were about to ask her what is going on, if she was okay, but she already took her sword and stood on the doors prepared. Rebell went to her sister not to stop her but to help her, she could smell the same stink she did. However, Amber told Rebell to stand down and let her finish the job. Amber opened the doors and stood infront of them, in a fighting stance. There stood two hunters, dressed for a fight and Amber sure as hell was going to give them one. She walked towards them, ready to cut their throats but the words of one of them stopped her in her track.

"We're here to warn you. There is a great war coming out there and if you don't listen to me and let me help you, you're gonna be the center of it." Said one of the hunters and smirked at Amber's face as he thought that she's gonna spare their lives but little did they know that they all hated them.

"I have no intentions in working with hunters." Rebell hissed as she cut one of the hunters's throat open and as she felt the blood go down her arm, she looked to her right to see her sister snapping other hunters's neck and in a split of a second they were both on the ground, dead and bloody. After that Rebell turned around and told them all to go to house and wait for her. She transfered her pack members to their neighborhood pack in order to make sure none of them gets hurt. A few minutes after they went inside she followed. She shut the doors behing her close and they all looked at her. Rebell walked towards her desk and sat down, she took a deep breath and started talking.

"We need to find hunters before they come after us again. We need to kill them." She said in a very dark tone that made Sebastian smirk. He always knew what kind of person she is. She could hide it as long as she wanted but she was still thirsty for power and blood.

"Fine by me." Amber said and he couldn't help but see how much alike these two actually were. They were both blood thirsty just like their mother, just like their grandmother. Yes, he knew Kali and Rayna. He knew both of them and Kali was always his favorite.

"The only problem is that I don't know where to start looking. Does any of you have any idea?" Asked Kaleb all of a sudden. And all Elijah and Sebastian did was sit there and listen. Elijah couldn't stop thinking about how to protect the only person he cared about, his soul mate, his Rebell. And Sebastian couldn't stop thinking about how Faith was playing games with him. He knew exactly were to find them but he couldn't say that. Not now.

"I, personally don't know where to start but there might be someone who knows." Said Amber and looked at Rebell as her eyes shone with sudden realisation. Sebastian closed his eyes as he hoped they weren't talking about him.

"Yeah. There was a guy who was famous for killing the only white wolf that ever walked the Earth. He was also known for his alliance with hunters, he was a different kind of supernatural, something no eye has seen before and he was extremely powerfull. His power was so big that no one dared to touch him for no one knew the consequences of touching something so precious to the world." Rebell said and Sebastian took a deep breath as the memories from white wolf came rushing back to his mind.

"I thought that white wolf was immortal. How could he kill him?" Asked Elijah all of a sudden and it made Sebastian jump in his seat a little bit. Amber looked at him curiously but he just smiled nervously. And Clary stood beside Kaleb, looking at her brother knowing exactly what was going on.

"Yeah but it is said that his power is so big that he could kill anyone in the world. That's why I searched for him. I looked for him for 10 years but that guy is a ghost story." Amber said and Sebastian looked at her confused. Why would she go looking for him? Why did she need the Shadow himself?

"He is called shadow. Shadows and Ghosts are one and the same thing. Sort of. Anyways, why would you go looking for someone who could kill you in a split of a second?" Asked Rebell and Amber closed her eyes and once she opened them her eyes shone with disgust and anger.

"I thought if someone as powerfull as he is could learn to control himself maybe he could teach me how to control this....this....this monster I've become." She said and her eyes started shining red but she soon snapped out of it. One thing they all learned about Amber is that when her eyes shine with red color it means that she's close to loosing control.

"You're not a monster." Said Sebastian and Clary looked at her brother sympathetically saying that he needs to tell them the truth.And they wouldn't stop asking questions until he gave up and started telling them the truth. The truth that is not nice at all.

"When my sister and I became immortal, we had no one we could trust. So, we decided to travel around the world until we found a place where we would be accepted. And in one particullar part of the year we found that place, we even became friends with one werewolf. Life was great, you'd think but no, it wasn't. One day I was about to go to the shop and I left my little sister with the person I thought was my best friend. She pleaded for me not to leave her. She tried to tell me something was wrong but I didn't listen to her, so I went to that freaking shop. I wish I never left her with that.... that maniac. 30 minutes. It's all it took for me to go and come back from the shop and that's all it took for him to hurt her. I made myself a promise saying that I'll protect her no matter what but I failed. I came into the house and heard some screaming and crying. At first I haven't realized what was going on and then as soon as it got to me I went upstairs and went to the room the noise was coming from. And as soon as I went inside i felt my blood boil. He was on top of her, trying to do something he would have done if I came a bit later or if my insticts were slow. But as soon as I saw the scene before me I formed a weapon in my hand that could kill Reddox and I killed him. I didn't even blink for a second as I killed that maniac. After that I formed an alliance with hunters. I helped them with anything they wanted me to and in return they leave my sister out of their job. I helped them do terrible things and I regret nothing. I would do it all over again if that meant that Clary is gonna be safe." Sebastian said and they all looked at him mouth agape. A nice guy just told hem that he's a murderer and that he regret nothing at all.

"So, you see. Amber, you're not a monster, I am. For I am the one who created Nightmare prison, the very prison Rebell was in. " He said and they all gasped and looked at Rebell. But Rebell just shook her head, yes the Nightmare prison was terrible but she could never blame him. For she would do the same in the name of the family or the people she cares about.

"However, that's not what we were talking about. I was telling you about me and my so called best friend, who I have killed. " He repeated again and they still didn't get it even tho truth was clear as day.

"What does that have to do with The Shadow and with Hunters's hiding spot?" Kaleb asked and Sebastian sighed now clearly annoyed by their foolishness. He literally told them everything but they still didn't get it.

"You still don't get it do you?" He asked now clearly frustrated. And as they all asked confused 'get what?' he finally gave up and said it.

" The only person who knows everything about hunters, even the place where they all gather is the Shadow. I am the only one who knows where they are and where they are going to be. I am the only one on this planet who can kill anyone or anything and so it the Shadow." He said again but they were too confused by his talking and talking and talking to understand a single thing that came out of his mouth.

"I am the Shadow and I am the one who killed the white wolf!" He yelled finally giving up and they all gasped.
