We cannot see them, for they are not of this world. We cannot touch or hurt them, for they are not of this plane of existence. We can only hear and sense them, for they exist only in our minds. They are each person's unique doppelgänger, our equal and negative opposite. They are our twin, with opposing attributes. They are many, but remain as one. They are always beside us like our shadow, and yet everywhere at the same time. They are the Gods of Darkness, omnipresent, omnipotent, and capable of infinite things. They are nowhere, but are everything everywhere. We are mere thoughts to them, shadows beneath them, destined to,forever slink behind them. They are to us, what we are to them.....
Shadows......
Doppelgängers.......
Their equal and negative opposites........
We are The Nightmare Men.............

*Note: this spawned shortly after I wrote The Strange Room. I couldn't help but delve into The thought of being able to hear a strange voice from a God-like shadow version of a person, only with equal but negatively opposite attributes. The idea was very thought provoking, and this is the end result. What I like is the constant ebb and flow of contrasting ideas and thoughts. I love duality, and looking at equal opposites is very fascinating, and learning how these balances occur is very profoundly important to me. I also made the cover pic myself using the ever wonderful, ever so innovative ArtStudio for IOS.
