Rain.......
Silent......dark..... relentless rain,
Pouring despair into everything,
Soaking all in sadness,

It falls without pity,
It falls without direction,
It falls without purpose,
It sails endlessly through the air, driven downward by gravity's cruel hand,
Pushed forcibly,
Onward to its final destination,
It hits without stopping, without hesitation, without care,
It spreads, cold, cruel, and unforgiving,
It pools, merciless, desperate, and miserable,
And we take it all in,
As the drops fall,
Ever downward,
Screaming as they go..........*Note: I originally wrote this in 6th grade, so some things might seem a bit different than what I write now.
