Okay so this one time American women weren't allowed to vote- fucking ridiculous and hard to fathom, I know. Anyway Susan B. Anthony headed a big part of the Women's Suffrage Movement; but, way before the movement picked up momentum Susan was basically like, "Fuck it" and marched right up to the voting booth and casted her vote.
She got arrested.
