He walked towards his drawer and brought out a bag. It was neatly wrapped in Aso oke and I was so anxious to see what was inside. He sat me down and sat beside me before giving me the bag which was heavy by the way. I opened it and brought out a fine gown made of silk. I gasped and looked at him. He motioned for me to continue. I unfolded the cloth and brought out ear rings and bracelets made of beads

This must have cost a fortune

I looked at the clothes then frowned. He looked at me questioningly and I pushed everything towards him
"I can't accept this wale" he looked hurt before he left his face void of any emotion and pushed the things back to me
"you don't have a choice Seyi it's my gift to you" I looked at the clothes then at him. I hugged him which surprised him but he hugged me back anyways

I got back home and decided to wear the clothe for the gala tonight. Everyone attends the gala both young and old. The clothe soothed me for someone with my abilities. The hands were free and the gown had a space in my waist area showing off my waist. I loosened my koroba and plaited my hair into two pig tails that reached my bust. Kike and the rest went to the gala earlier but everyone knows my style

Come late and leave early

I walked out of the house and the sound of talking drums could be heard. I got to the gala and people had started dancing everything we needed was here including what our abilities demanded. I saw wale and kike on the dance floor then sat down. Wale spotted me then left kike coming straight to me. He smiled at me then pulled me to the dance floor. The beats for bàtá started playing and wale started showing off his moves

I went to his side, swung my shoulders back and forth while shaking my hips simultaneously. He held his agbada and we danced all night long. I got exhausted then sat on the chair and slept on his shoulders.

" Seyi get up" I woke up to the sound of screaming people and my sight met chaos. I looked at wale and a group of other villagers using their abilities to fight a group of people. I swung into action and stood beside kike that was blocking a man's chi
" what happened !?" she didn't answer me so I ran towards the fountain but was blocked by a man

Hottie?

He smiled at me then moved closer "I'm sorry love" he pulled me close the looked into my eyes. I felt all my will power leave me before I fell down just staying there not aware of anything.

Wait what's even going on

They are fighting you idiot

I got up then wobbled a bit

They're fighting and I'm here playing hanky panky with one hell of a hottie

I looked at the man beside me that was barking orders at people then smirked

Payback time.

I used all the might I had to snap out of whatever he did then kicked him right in the shin. He yelped and I ran to the fountain. I focused all my energy on the sources of water here and all liquids came rushing out. Glasses broke and wines spilled. They formed a circle around me and I formed frozen spears before charging it at them. Those that had powers like me also joined and the other groups were just getting more Reinforcing if a troop is down. They came holding guns and started shooting. A man aimed a gun at me before firing but he was too slow I ducked and formed a shield around me.

Ugh this fight is getting boring

I brought the shield down and saw men down with arrow like things sticking on their bodies. I looked towards kike's direction and saw a man about to hit wale with a gun
"wale! Watch out!" wale kicked the man and ran towards me
"why are you here" what is he joking?
" it's dangerous so why in Sango's life are you here!"
"wale wait people need help and you know it" he held my hand then dragged me away from the to the back of a table and got some ropes

Ugh idiot

"you know ropes are not going to hold me right" he thought before he sighed
"no, it won't "
"then just let me fight"
"no, I won't" he used his ability to bring leaves from the ground and encircled them around me. The grip was tight and I panicked "what are you doing wale?"
"I'm protecting you" he came close to me then raised my chin up "I'm sorry"

What?

I looked at him and he had his two fingers out. Is he going to?
Oh, hell no
"wale I beg you please no" he ignored me then blocked my chi by hitting some muscles in my arm and legs. I felt so useless and weak then everything went blank.

" take them into the car"
" yes boss"

Everywhere was blurry and I tried to pick up somethings from my surrounding. I looked around and saw them rounding everyone up in a box that had wings. I looked at wale who was now bounded and was being led to a separate box like thingy. No, we can't end like this. I tried to stand up but remembered the plants that bounded me. Ugh I really need water. I looked around but the fountains were broken. Then a memory suddenly came to me

"mama why do you need to water the plants?" mama laughed and replied "because every plant needs water to survive"

The plants!

I looked at them and they were as fresh as ever. I mustered all the energy I could and all the plants withered into nothing. I tried to walk but my movements were wobbly " hey you stop there with my pal you freak!" before the guard knew what was coming, I smacked his head with water and he fell on the ground. This got the attention of the other guards that were leading wale away. Wale frowned at me but used to opportunity to fight off the guards.

Did they block his chi?

Another guard came from behind and hit wale on the head.

No no no

"no!" I used the water with me to form a cage around the guard and broke his leg. He screamed in pain making more guards form the box to come out. Hottie came out and wasn't pleased with the sight

Well good I'll love to keep it that way

I collected the water and formed a circle around all the guards including hottie. "hold your fire!" the guards lowered their guns but I didn't drop my water though. Instead I made the circle tighter forcing them to cuddle up even closer. I let the circumference have sharp edges then felt I sharp pain on my shoulders. The water fell and the guards used it as an opportunity to seize me. I thrust left and right but they were strong and I was weak really weak. Hottie motioned for them to come towards him and they threw me on the floor beside him. He looked at me face for a moment before forcing me to stare into his eyes
"you will go to sleep and not give any of us any problems throughout the ride"

Its official I'm screwed

I tried to fight it then I felt a sharp pain in my chest and I clutched it hard before staring into his eyes. He looked surprised then composed himself. He took one of the guns aiming the bullets on my shoulders before shooting me making everything go black.
