I felt a sharp pain all around my body and I rubbed my eyes. I smiled in happiness as my eyes adjusted to the brightness

I have a baby
A child to call my own

Is it a boy or girl, how does she look like or he? I stood up from the bed and walked towards the entrance of the cave. The scene was so beautiful it made my smile grow even wider. Where Luke? And more importantly my child? I ran out the cave ignoring the pain in between my legs and saw Luke and Mia but no Kaden and no baby "Seyi" I smiled happily and jumped on Luke kissing him in the process.

"where's my baby?" he looked confused and Mia started crying. I detached myself Luke and looked at all of them
"where is my baby!?" I looked at all of them and they all avoided my gaze. Mia's tears were flowing freely and I felt my own threatening to spill "no" the tears fell freely and the salty goodness entered my mouth.
"where's my baby!?" the water below the cave went high and dropped immediately it came. I raised the water high and held it around Luke and Mia making them to go close to each other.
"I swear to God I will kill both of you if you don't produce my baby right now!" Mia gaze went to a presence behind me and I equally turned back. Kaden walked close to me and I raised my other hand

"don't even come near me Kaden or so help me God I will not hesitate to hurt you" still he took a bold step forward and I released Luke and Mia putting all my energy on the water in front of Kaden. Still he came forward and held my hand. I felt my will power leave me and I tried to fight the compulsion, the one that is trying to steal my will power
"calm down" I felt all my worries leave me and I still stared at Kaden, giving him my full attention.

"the baby is dead" ohhhhh, so that's what happened. He pulled my face closed and stared deeper into my soul "she was born prematurely, she had to go" I looked at him and he smiled at me caressing my cheek and sending shivers down my spine. He looked into my eyes again and I met auburn with a hint of black staring at me "give me a smile Seyi" without thinking a smile of my own came on my face and he looked pleased. He caressed my hair and traced my lower lip with his thumb. I felt hot all over and I leaned into him. His lips captured mine and I buried my hands in his hair which by the way is very soft. Our tongues moved in sync and I moaned when he bit my lower lip. He pulled out and I kissed his jawline down to his neck and stared at him. He leaned in again then paused
"look at me Seyi" I stared at him and he smiled "I'm sorry, " I felt my will power leave me again and I fell into a trance staring at his beautiful eyes " go to sleep"

Everything went black

I stirred and opened my eyes. It was night time and a flame illuminated the cave giving it a gentle glow. I stood up and gasped, the events of this morning rushing back to me

My baby

I cleaned a stray tear and my body rocked, my sobs echoing throughout the cave. Luke ran in and paused in front of me. I hid my face in my palm and I felt myself being lifted. "I'm so sorry Seyi" I kept on sobbing and Luke was trying and failing to calm me down but I wasn't taking any of it; my baby is dead.

"leave her"

"no, I can't leave her Kaden she's hurting "
"I'm sorry Luke I wasn't asking. Leave her .... now!" Luke dropped me and I avoided eye contact with Kaden. He pulled me up and forced me to look at him. He cleaned my tears and embraced me. I leaned into his chest and stared the water works. Mucus was on his shirt and more were coming, he rubbed my hair and I sobbed even more.
"Come, let me show you something" he pulled me along and we went to the back of the he knelt down on a head stone and I felt a new river coming on. "here she is, what would you have named her?"
I looked at the headstone without any name and I sat cross legged on the floor and thought about the events following the circumstances of her birth, then death. I never thought I would say this but God protected me and her well before she died. Kike and amar really tried to kill me, and wale.... gosh how would he feel when he finds out I wasn't able to protect our child, our baby girl. I cleaned my eyes and sniffed

"I would have named her Dabobo, Oluwadabobomi" Kaden came and sat down beside me "the name is beautiful Seyi, what does it mean?" I laughed a forced one and played with one of my pig tails
"it means God protected me" I closed my eyes as the water works began again "what I wasn't able to do God did it, but not just to her, I'd have called her Dabobo" I turned to stand up but he pulled me back down and held my hand in his. I looked at our intertwined fingers and stared at him. He pecked my fore head and pulled me up
"come on, let's go to bed" we were about to walk away when I paused making him to stop behind me. I turned to the head stone and conjured my powers. Water from below the cave came and I replaced the head stone with that of ice, decorating it and bringing the dead flowers back to life. I looked at the necklace on my neck and removed it
"I wish Bobo was alive and that this ice will never melt unless it's her that commands it" I dropped the amulet on the grave and everywhere became frozen. Ice guards came up and tossed Kaden out of the place. They bowed before me and I walked out of the place making it sacred. I sealed the door with ice and felt a surge of power in my body
"Siloh. This will be mount Siloh" I felt a tap on my back and turned to see a panicked Luke

"what happened?"

"we're under attack Seyi" this place is sacred; it will never be attacked. I ran to the mouth of the cave and saw Kike and the others fighting Kaden. I conjured rain and a loud booming thunder made everyone to face me.
"this place is sacred! Nobody fights here" I didn't recognise myself anymore. I raised the water high making it to swallow everyone including me. We were at the bottom of the ocean and I made the whole mountain to turn to ice, extending to the shores of the ocean. The water soon became cold before freezing and forming sharp spears.

Suddenly
The adrenaline was gone
I felt weak

I was drowning
