One Last Fight

I brought our lips together and our body seemed connected following each other's moves, commanding each other's wish. Our tongues danced together in pure ecstasy and I melted away into her arms; her knees buckling against mine. I supported her posture with my arm and used my other one to trail her jawline tugging at her lower lip which earned a low moan granting me access into her tunnel. We fought for dominance and I gained full control taking the gears and moving us forward as her back collided with the wall. I trailed my hands down her sides earning a shiver from her. I smiled into the kiss and carried her up. She tugged on my hair and I felt a budge in my trousers encouraging me to keep going.

But I can't do this
I feel desire for her but I have to respect her wish
After all she is carrying another man's baby.

I left her lips and kissed her neck before pulling out and staring into her eyes "I love you Fase. I want to spend my world with you and if we survive this" I looked deep into her eyes, searching her soul; feeling her emotions "I will marry you" I added and with those last words I pecked her lips and ushered myself out reluctantly.

"no and no she can't stay here"
"but Seyi"
"no" I frowned in defeat and looked at Luke who was avoiding each of our gazes at all cost. "Luke you know you want Mia to stay in here" Seyi folded her arms and her growing stomach made it difficult. I couldn't help but chuckle which earned me another glare "you want your ex-girlfriend to move into the house, our house?" she had a look of defeat before sitting on the chair. I scratched the back of my neck and sat down beside her
"I'm sorry but she's in a critical condition......she needs a place to stay" I stated with more determination. She had a hurt look in her eyes and she stood up abruptly
"fine! Now I know how much you all love me!" tears were streaming down her face and she ran into her room and slammed the door shut.

Why

No why I'm pretty sure this is God's way of telling me off.

I looked at Mia who was on the other couch and sighed. Well here's an insight about how all this started.
"it's snowing!" she was so excited and I smiled in response. Snow wasn't a new thing for me but she seemed to be really happy and excited.
"we never had this in Nigeria" she trailed her hand on the snow and shivered "snow fight!!!!!" a snow ball landed on my head and I turned to my back and put on my full-blown glare.
"Luke..." Luke ran in the other direction and I followed him but felt a cold solid object hit my back and melt down to my butt
"Fase..." she raised her hands up and more snow balls formed. I paused and Luke went beside her and they both shared a look "throw it. I dare you" she raised her hands high and was ready to strike me down when we heard a loud scream. The snow balls fell with a thud and Seyi ran in the direction of the sound I followed her and Luke was hot on my trail also

"oh my God" Seyi's voice broke and I paused taking in the gruesome sight before me. There was Mia, a tree branch sticking out of her tummy and blood turning the ice snow red. Seyi fell down and Luke caught her then motioned for me to carry her. I held Mia and carried her into the house stitching her up and covering her abdomen with bandage..........

Mia was sleeping peacefully and Seyi's muffled sobs could be heard from her room

Ugh

I didn't mean to hurt her, I just want Mia to be safe. I really love Mia but I love Seyi more. It's complicated "ughh...." I turned to Mia's direction and ran to assist her up

"where am I?"

"Mia it's me Kaden" she looked at me and smiled before wincing and clutching her tummy. She leaned in to my chest and I held her close savouring her scent "promise you'll never let me go"
"you need to rest Mia" she looked persistent and held onto my fore arm making me avert my gaze
"promise me Kaden!" her eyes were teary and I saw Luke stand up from the corner of my eyes and go into Seyi's room. I looked at Mia and conjured my powers. She fell into a trance and I gave her a peck
"sleep" her eyes closed and her face became peaceful. I carried her gently and her blonde hair cascaded down her face tickling me in places it touched. I dropped her on the bed: my bed and walked out of the house needing the space more than ever and welcoming my solitude, a new found comfort, with open arms.
