"Truth or dare?" after our fight the other officials decided that we needed a break and now we were told to relax together and this group was playing the game of truth or dare. Wale was on the bed and I was resting on his chest. I snuggled closer to him and he hugged me tighter. I played with my necklace and looked at the gauze on wale's hand.
"Seyi the bottle is on you, truth or dare?" I looked up at wale and he pecked my fore head

This feels nice

No kidding!

"I choose dare" Luke smirked with an evil glint in his eyes and wale gave him a weary look but he smiled happily at me.
"I dare you Seyi to kiss me for five seconds" wale tightened his hold on me and Luke smiled
"on the lips" guys whistled and girls glared at me.

Ugh damn

"what's the forfeit" people booed and girls smirked evilly
"you have to remove ten things from your body and stay like that for a day" wale's muscles tensed and he suddenly let go of me "no, she's not doing any of those"
"yeah she is don't be a joy killer Wale" wale backed down and stared at me. Ugh. I stood up and walked towards Luke's direction then faced everybody.
"one" I loosened my first pig tail

"two" I loosened the second one. Wale watched in amusement and Luke was just plane surprised. I squatted and removed the two socks on my legs

"three, four" I took my two ear rings off and flashed wale a smile

"five, six" I touched my lips and felt the lip ointment from earlier. What did they call it, lip gloss?

Meh not my problem

I swiped it off then smirked at Luke

"seven" the whole place was quiet and wale smiled at me urging me to continue. I raised my top high then removed it.

"eight" now I was in a sports bra and skirt. The hair products! I ran to the bathroom and wale followed me. I poured water on my hair and washed away all the products. I got back to the room, my hair dripping wet

"nine" by now Lucas's mouth was wide open I got down and removed my anklet beads

"ten" people clapped and Lucas just looked defeated. I winked at him and sat down with wale again

"spin it spin it" and with that we continued our game.

Everyone left for their various rooms and it was just me and wale with Lucas of course being a third wheel. Ugh I need Lucas to get out of here. I stared at a sleeping wale and I sighed again

This is so boring

"everyone! Report to the auditorium right now!" I woke wale up and we left for the auditorium. People were gathered and the place was packed with different colours and species. The fire woman from before stood on the stage and looked at all of us. Silence washed over the auditorium like a plague and she glared at me then spoke to the microphone

"the people who will fight alongside us has been decided. Because of the bravery of some certain fighters instead of choosing ten we will be choosing twelve. Six males and six females, however some officials will stay behind to look after the rest of you and I'm glad to tell you that I am one of those officials"

Hell no, now I really have to make it

"listen to your names carefully and pack your things " she brought out a list and gave it to Romi before going to her sit "for the male warriors here are the names: Kaden, Me, Wale, Thomas, Luke and Brandon"

Yay wale and Luke made it
He cleared his throat and everyone looked up at him

"for the male category we will be having Ayomide as the healer" girls cheered and I scoffed, at least he's doing something good. He went back to his list and gave Kaden the list. Kaden walked forward and you could tell that so many girls were drooling over him

"for this category no, female official will follow them however they will be monitored. For the female category the names are; Khadija, Rosemarie, Asha, Penelope, kike and Faseyi. The healer following them on this mission is: Kenny. For those that couldn't make it train harder and help in protecting the camp before we come back from our mission, that is if we are successful"

I got in!

"those whose names were called should see me and Romi in our office for details. You're dismissed" the place was rowdy with disappointed faces here and there but they still went to their dorms anyways. I saw wale and I ran to him jumping on him when I got there. He twirled me around and kept a quick kiss on my lips before pulling away "we made it" he smiled and we entered the office together. I saw Luke and smiled at him in which he waved in return. I sat on the floor and wale mirrored my movements ignore the stares the remaining warriors gave us. Kaden walked in and sat beside Romi which made the noise come down a little bit.

"as you all know you've been selected to fight alongside the LFP. WE ARE A BIG FAMILY AND THERE ARE SOME RULES IF YOU WANT TO REMAIN HERE! " the whole place became quiet and he looked at all our faces before he continued.

Tch no need to get all shouty hottie

"you all should pack your bags; we leave before sundown" he sat back down and everyone made their ways back to their dorms.

Life so stressful

"wait!" people turned back to look at hottie "with respect to your data there will be some rules guiding your safety and that of others, now you can go" ugh who does he think he is, this is so stressful.

I made my way to my dorm and sat down. I don't really own anything here. I looked at the gown wale gave me and kept it in the bag assigned to us. I packed the gown I wore for the dinner and a few things, well the necessities.
"Aww monkey doesn't have clothes to wear" ignore her Seyi. Let the insult roll down your back. I ignored her and made my way to Kaden's office. Wale was there and Luke was poking him in the face which made him angry.

I got to the door and wale waved at me while Luke just stuck his tongue out. Kaden and Romi came up the and got everyone's attention making the place less noisy and quieter.
"the rules guiding us are
1. No lies, lying will definitely not be tolerated
2. You must be early to training at all times
3. You all are going to be in the same room so no sex, there will be severe consequences if we have a baby in our arms " people chuckled at this and I just looked at the floor.
" and last but not least we must have each other's back at all times, you all should get in the car." Oh so that's what it's called "mind you all the car has been enhanced for teleporting and many that you will find out during training".

I got to the car and wale sat next to me. Turns out there are three cars that will carry four passengers. Wow I don't think I can ride on this. No, I need to get out of here. I gave wale a panicked look and he turned his gaze to me
"hey sweetie what's wrong " he held my hands but that didn't help

ugh quit being a big baby

"I can't ride on this wale. I need to get out" I looked around the car and my whole body was getting sweaty "hey it's okay I'm here nothing's going to happen"
"I want out wale!" I tried yanking my hands off him but he held me with an iron grip "trust me okay? everything's going to be just fine" he kissed my knuckles and I looked up to him and my body relaxed

"promise?"

"I promise" he leaned down and pecked me but I couldn't help but notice the glare I was receiving from Kaden.
