I stared at the man whom I've grown fond off in the past few days sat beside me and was massaging my leg. I threw my head back and sighed

"what's wrong? is it the baby? are you hurting?" I could totally take advantage of this but I won't. I smiled and shook my head "I feel like sleeping". A look of understanding dawned on his features before he let go of my legs completely and hugged me. I left his office and got to the room glaring at the sight before me

And oh, Wale and kike are now official.

Here I am in the mist of my ex-boyfriend and my halve sister watching them go all lovey dovey. I slammed the door which startled them causing both of them to jump up. They stared at me and gave each other some space making me to laugh
"oh no! don't let me interrupt whatever you were doing, carry on"
"Seyi please" I ignored Wale and slammed the door shut making my way to Kaden's bedroom. I guess I'm napping there. I opened the door and Kaden's head snapped towards my direction "what happened to the nap?" I smiled and jumped on the bed

"change of plans, I'm napping here" he smiled and threw the blanket on me and by blanket, I mean a very heavy piece of bed sheet. I made my way out of it and tackled him.

We fell on the floor and he laughed making me to laugh also.
He carried me to the bed and we plopped down. He pulled me close and kept his arms around me

"sleep well Fase" and that afternoon I took a nap with a smile on my face.

"we want to form a resistance against Romi and Kaden. We want out of this mess, and we plan to defeat the evil on our own, who's with us?" I looked at Wale and some other with kike while I stared at Luke for some answers

I met Kaden's eyes and I smiled at him fearing what will happen if I send a message to him. Luke pulled me to Kaden's office and we waited for him to come in before locking it
"you're in danger Kaden" he looked at me and Luke explained everything.

"so, what's our plan" Luke smirked and I felt excited all over again.

Time to act

"see you at the watch night Kaden " Kaden smiled at me before pulling me in for a kiss. We made it longer to get the attention of others before he pulled out and whispered into my ears
"whatever you plan to do think of your baby" I nodded as the butterfly factory in my tummy was currently running. My heartbeat increased and I waved him bye and entered the room. Everyone looked at me and I smiled "operation get Kaden is a go" people cheered and someone opened a wine
"to us!" I took a sip and dropped the glass, excusing myself and going outside for some air.

"Faseyi" I turned back and looked at Wale I scooted for him to sit down and stared at the stars
"I'm sorry Faseyi but I love and care about you, that's why I'm telling you to save Kaden. run far away and don't tell me your location. The evil is a spirit and it has possessed kike. She wants your blood Seyi you have to leave before the plan takes place even if you cannot save Kaden" I processed this information and stared at Wale
"I'll miss you"
I hugged him and he hugged me back. I memorised his scent and pulled back just to look at his face before he connected our lips. I ran my hands through his hair and gave him a last peck before pulling out. I stood up and he followed suit. I got inside the house and took a scarf, well here goes nothing.

I felt bile rising up my throat before I hurriedly rush to the toilet and threw up. I cleaned my mouth and walked outside

"I'm a healer Seyi, I'm not dumb" I smiled at him before turning to the direction of the chapel. He pulled me back and looked at me dead in the eye "I said run!" I flinched against his tone and ran as fast as I could out of the chapel and towards the house.
