"No baby "I stomped my foot like a five-year-old and looked at the yoyo in his possession. Okay lets me explain what's happening. I'm whacking everyone with the yoyo and my father doesn't like it.

I gave him my killer smile and he narrowed his eyes "oh well father, I guess I don't need it anymore" reverse psychology always work. I turned on my heels and began to walk away when my father dropped the yoyo.
"aha!" I grabbed it and started my victory dance making my father smirk.
"give it Seyi!"

"yes daddy?" I gave him my puppy dog eyes and he smiled "here comes sir tickling" he started tickling me and I dropped the yoyo and made my escape.

We were both laughing then his gaze turned dark. I followed his gaze and stared at the bite mark on my neck
"funny story father"
"who did this" I scratched my head and he stood up and pulled me into the living area. Everyone's gaze met my father's and they all stood up "who did this"
"stop this dad!" he looked so angry and Luke gave me an apologetic smile "stop what Seyi! You're just 17 turning to eighteen and you've gone through so much. Nobody hurts my baby and goes scot free" Philip looked nervous and my father smiled sadistically at him

"it was you wasn't it" Philip paled and took a step back but he was to slow for dad who already had his neck in his grasp "give me a reason not to kill you Philip" everyone was tense and I kept on shouting at them to stop. Philip's face was red and my father's grip got even tighter. I pushed Luke off me and ran to my father holding his hand

"dad no please stop" he ignored me. Then threw him across the room "explain yourself!" my dad went to the couch and Philip stood up, scratching his head and stunting closer toward my dad
"I'm so sorry sir, it wasn't my fault!" his knuckles were white and he motioned for him to continue.
"Seyi and I went hunting but we didn't find anything, and I hadn't fed in a week! I tried getting away from her but she offered herself. I didn't force her to do anything, all her actions were by her choice not mine" my father looked at me for a minute before smiling back at Philip "what did I tell you before Seyi came to this house" he looked down and stared at me in pity
"you said not to touch her, not to kiss her, not to even look at her in that way" my dad smiled before standing up "and what did I say I would do to you if you disobeyed me"

"you said you'd kill me" he smiled before laughing
"see you later Philip" he snapped his neck and I released a loud scream. I ran to his body and started crying. People continued what they were doing as if nothing happened. I stormed after Luke and my dad following them into their room. I pushed Luke behind me and stood in front of my dad
"what is wrong with you! Why did you kill him" he smiled at me and sat down "because unlike him I kept my promise to him" his smile grew wider and he brought out some files

"I have good news Seyi "I folded my arms and hissed
"okay fine, he's going to come back to life Seyi, he's a vampire. Now about that good news guess what" I rolled my eyes and leaned forward
"what" he handed the file over to me and I read through it. The tears were pricking the edge of my eyes and I read through it "we've located Kaden and Mia, Seyi" I smiled at him and ran to hug him
"thanks, so much dad" I ran out of the office and saw Luke. I jumped on him and we both crashed to the ground "we've located them Luke" he smiled and helped me up

"we leave by midnight Seyi, say your byes"

"ow!" I started laughing hysterically and Luke glared at me. Luke summoned his flames which now illuminated the dark. I stared at the building ahead of us and ran towards it.

I ran to the door and opened it. Burnt leftovers of what was LFP stared back at me and I sighed. I saw Kaden ahead of me and Mia. They were tied to the wall and were shaking their heads vigorously at me.
