The leaders were giving me the stink eye and I ignored all of them. At least I said the truth even if I pulled some toes, it had to be done.
" as you all know today's Christmas" people cheered and some even whistled
"there will be a dinner tonight for introduction and to have fun" she paused and looked at all of us before continuing "as the lady that came up here without manners said, we are all one and any form of racism will not be condoned"

"at the dinner I expect everyone to be in their best behaviour and any form of indiscipline will have serious consequences. You will all dress according to what you're comfortable in and what you will be able to use your ability in" the lady sat down and price Romi stood up. Girls were swooning even the foreigners and I internally sighed

"I hope we live in unity, thank you" people cheered for him. Eiya too bad I didn't hear his speech. Everyone stood up and went to their various rooms to get ready and I looked at the ginger haired girl beside me. Hmmm let me at least try to be her friend
"hey" she looked at me and laughed. I didn't know what to do so I laughed with her also. People turned and looked at us shaking their head at me and calling the white girl cute.

"I'm sorry but I don't talk to monkeys" she smirked and I felt really bad. Jerk. I got up to leave and felt a hand pull me back. Ugh. I turned around and saw Wale with a white. Yay he made friends
"hello Wale" I said it with sarcasm dripping from my voice and his smile turned to a frown.
"hey Seyi, Wale has told me a lot about you. My name is Lucas but you can call me Luke" I smiled at Luke and shook his hands "nice to meet you" I turned ready to walk away but Wale pulled me back
"are you seriously going act like this right now?" I gave him a nonchalant look and he sighed " at least let me explain"

"I don't want your explanation Wale! You did the unspeakable. What gave you the flipping right to block my chi!?" ha ha Wale looks as if he could piss himself and I smiled. Luke looked uncomfortable and I felt apologetic "sorry for my outburst Luke and Wale I just want to know why you did it"
" I wanted to protect you Seyi. I'm sorry you're hurt but I'll gladly do it again if there's danger that you cannot handle" I shook my head and smiled
"well I'm sorry to Wale because as from now I don't know you anymore the Wale I knew will never let me go through so much pain just because you think I'm not strong enough" I cleared my throat and look at Luke "I hope we'll be great friends".

We got outside and Wale and Luke started shivering. The snow fell with more speed and there was snow everywhere. I smiled happily and ran towards my house or dorm and saw that the water had become ice.
" do you know how to walk on ice?" I shook my head and he smiled. He took my hand and led me forward walking slowly on the ice.
"use your powers to stabilise yourself" I focused my energy on the ice and it covered my leg pushing me forward and leaving Luke behind
"bye! Luke" his figure became tiny and I got to my dorm
"okay how will I stop this thing" I looked at the thing and I was rolling around "argh!" and with one last turn I flung into my dorm crashing with a loud thud into the dressing room. Girls and guys looked at me before laughing and helping me up. Ugh my shoulder. A girl brought some frozen peas and kept them on my shoulders. "thanks" she smiled and I took over holding the peas while everyone else were picking out their attire for the dinner.

After some time, the peas became mushy and wet so I dropped it on a table and sat down looking at all the dresses. The clothes were revealing because of our powers and I internally groaned. I wasn't used to exposing clothing. Ugh my shoulders hurts. I don't think I'm going for the dinner. I stood up and went to my room. My roommate had friends over and they stopped talking when they saw me. I ignored them and went to my bed closing my eyes and waiting for sleep to come. My roommate and her friends left and I was alone in the room.

Finally

I sat up and looked at my shoulders through the mirror. I cringed at my right shoulder and went into the bathroom. I sat on the bathtub and got some water. "okay Faseyi you can do this" I was able to control the water for some time then I felt a sharp pain in my shoulders. I dropped the water and winced in pain. I walked back into the room and plopped down on my bed. I can't go anywhere in this state, not that I wanted to anyways. I closed my eyes and felt a little drowsy before sleeping.
"she's just too weak to fight me Kaden that's why she probably didn't come out" ugh shut up.
"don't talk that way" hottie? I opened my eyes and saw hottie who I now know as Kaden. He was wearing a suit as Wale told me when he came from the city one time. My roommate, Asha was wearing something really revealing that showed more than just her arms.

"why are you not at the dinner?" oh my God. with what Asha said I can't tell them about my shoulder. I laughed and smiled making Kaden to smile and Asha to glare
"I didn't know how to pick a dress out" Kaden laughed and Asha hissed " okay then Seyi lets pick out something for you know shall we"
