31. Examination

-Again? Really Leo you really need to stop telep... Wait, we're home?

-Yeah... Tamara helped me.

We were now in the middle of the dojo. My dizziness is still there and still intense but I can handle it. As Tamara said: "it's just a phase".

-THERE YOU ARE!

Once again, I shut my eyes to the sudden scream. I really can't help it, even if I wanted too.

-Shut up Mikey! Said Raph to the youngest, but not too loud, knowing how I feel.

-WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU! Screamed Mikey.

I didn't know what do to help the pain this time so I just let my eyes shut. And I really don't think I'm going to open them again.

By doing so, I couldn't see what was going on around me. I heard a crash to my right, but still no answer to what Mikey had said to Raph. I quickly realized that Raph was fighting Mikey to make him shut up for good. Even if I can barely stand, I need to make the fight stop.

I open my eyes, which was definitely the worst part in all this, to see what was going on. As I suspected, Raph was sitting on Mikey's torso, trying to punch him in the face.

-Raph cut it out! I said, without hesitation.

To my surprise, Raph froze in place. He... Did he just listened to me? I think he did... Or perhaps my powers make me see things? Maybe I'm just asleep? Raph couldn't-

-Raph get off of me already! Said Mikey, making me loose my train of thoughts.

My hothead brother got up and went directly to me. I don't know why he's acting all overprotective right now but it is starting to get a little bit annoying. Yes, I don't feel well, but he doesn't have to jump on me whenever I'm standing!

-Mikey, where is Donnie? I asked, trying to forget Raph.

-In his lab. Why?

-Because I need to talk to him. I said as I start walking away. Not surprise, Raph quickly interrupt me.

-You can barely stand. I'm helping you. He said as he took my arm to put it over his shoulder, but I took it off.

-Can you please let me live? I asked.

-Well no. But if you want to fall over and injured yourself, it's OK with me! Said Raph with his usual sarcasm.

I sight as I realize that Raph had a point. I can't injured myself now, not when I'm almost ready to fight Shredder and get master Splinter back!

I let Raph took my arm once again as we start walking to Donnie's lab.

-Hey Leo, you okay? Said Mikey behind us. The youngest has been asking this question all over again but still, we ignored him so far.

-Yeah Mikey. Go watch the TV or do what you normally do. Please. I said.

I heard him mumbled something about injustice but I ignored it. Mikey doesn't deserved to be threaten like this but right now, we have more important things to focus on, like getting to Donnie's lab.

After a quick walk, Raph let go of my arm and slowly opened the lab's door.

-After you. He said as he showed me the way.

I smiled before entering, soon followed by my hothead brother.

-Donnie? I asked, looking for my purple brother.

Suddenly, a head appeared from nowhere followed by some inaudible talk.

-There you are! I was looking everywhere for you guys! Said Donnie while walking toward us. Hey Leo you OK? You look... Pale. Do you want to sit down?

-I'm good but let's just say that I had better days. I answered.

-So Don, we, well, he needs your help. Said Raph, way to straight forwards to the facts.

-I can explain it. I interrupt, knowing that Raph would make it looks worst than it actually is. So, as you know, my powers are getting stronger and I kind of teleport Raph and I to a forest and than a jungle.

-Ok... Said Donnie, totally confused.

-So I kind of need your help to know if you can... I don't know... Try to figure this out? I asked.

-Alright, but first sit down. I really have a feeling that you're going to collapse. Said Donnie.

Without admitting it, he was totally right. I really needed to sit down because this time, I really wasn't feeling well. Well yeah, I didn't felt good in the last few days, but I think that with everything that had happened to me in the last 24 hours, I just need to rest. For once in my life, I am ready to admit it, I'm exhausted. 

With that said, Donnie showed me the way to his desk, which was a mess by the way, and he gently let me sit in his chair. While I was doing that, I heard Raph having an other similar discussion with Mikey about the fact that I must not be bothered if he wants me back on my feet. 

-OK so Leo, what are you feeling right now? Donnie asked, ruining my train of thought. He had a pad and a pen and his hands, really to take in note all that I have to say. 

-Well, I feel like shit. I answered. 

-I can see that, but can you describe it to me. What kind of pain are you feeling? 

-My head hurt a lot and I'm dizzy. Also, I kind of feel nauseous. 

He wrote everything down, letting me get a glimpse of the conversation in the background. 

-Mikey, I know this sounds unfair but our big brother is sick and he doesn't need any distraction. I know you want to see him but not know. Said Raph.

-But I want to see if he's OK from my own eyes! 

-Well he's not. At least, not for now but he will be if you don't disturb him. 

This was so unfair for my little brother. He was just so young and worried... It's really sad to see him that way, he deserves better, like all of us. 

-OK Leo, I need to know what your headache feels like and where it is situated. Also, tell me...

And here we go again with an other phase of the examination by Don. I just hope that my powers are almost done growing because this is getting kind of odd.
