22. Lock

Raphael

"And what is Casey up to?" I ask. "Kill us all." Leo says calmly. He doesn't look scare that Casey want to kill us. "Why would he does that?!" I ask. Leo was about to answer when April arrived in the leaving room.

"What's up gu.... Shit what happen to Mikey?!" She asks as she runs to my unconscious brother. "Casey beat him." Donnie says angrily. He never talks like that to April.. That's strange. Arpil notices it too because she automatically look at him. "Donnie are u ok?" She asks. I saw my brother tentative to not scream at her, but it fail.

"No. No I'm not okay. April O'Neil, you have change. You aren't the same April that I met. You think the world is at your feet but it isn't. Now you think that you can invite us here and that we'll act like you are the same?! APRIL WE LOST SPLINTER AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN COME AT THE LAIR!!! DID YOU THINK THAT WE WERE FINE?! I KNOW YOU O'NEIL. I KNOW THAT YOU AREN'T STUPID!!! WHAT THE SHELL IS WRONG WITH YOU NOW?!" He take a deep breath to calm himself. I turn around to see April crying alone on her knees. "You know what April? The worst part in all that stupid shit is that I know that you knew how we felt and you didn't come." Donnie adds before he leaves the room to go in the barn.

Then I look around. April was still crying and Leo was now on her side. He probably talk to her to calm her down but I don't think he wants to do that. I know that he knows that Donnie was right on everything he said. I turn around and walk to the barn. I want to talk to Donnie.

"Donnie?" I say as I enter in the barn. "Are you here?" I didn't get any amswer. I walk in and I see him. My brother was sitting in the corner of the barn, shaking. "Donnie..." I say. I walk up to him and I sit beside him. "Why did I say that?" He asks me after a minute of silence. "You only said the true." I answer. "Yeah but I broke her." He says. I didn't know what to answer so I just stay there with my brother with nothing to say.

Leonardo

"April comon. You can't leave!" I say as I grap her wrist. "Yes I can." She replies almost instantly. "Look at me." She turns around and look at my eyes. "I'm not angry at you. Raph isn't. Mikey isn't. Donnie isn't." I say. "So why did he yelled at me?" April asks. "Because he's stress! Look at Mikey... He probably think it's his fault so that's why he yell at you!" I explain. She looks like she was thinking but she looks at me again. "No. I know him Leo. I know that he meant what he has said." She says.

"Now let me go." She adds. "I can't April." I say. "And why?" She asks. "Because I just can't." She forces me to let her wirst go and then she pushes me back. I hardly fell on the ground but I quickly get up and I jump in front of her.

"April please..." I start but she didn't let me finsh my sentence. "Let me pass." She orders. However, I didn't move one muscle. Before I could say anything else, April kicks my leg and pushes me back again. This time, I completely lost my balance and I fall downstairs, because yes, this house has 3 stages. When I arrive in the cave, I start screaming April name but she never come. All she did was closing the door and lock it.

Raphael

"Comon Donnie. We need to go back home before we both get sick." I say. He sighs because he obviously knew I'm right. I get up before I help Donnie. I walk to the door to get out the barn but it was lock. "Hello?!" I scream. "Let me try." Donnie says. He walks to me and try opening the door but nothing. "What the shell?" I say. We both push on the old door but still nothing. "Who could lock is in?" I ask, trying to hide my panick. "April." Donnie says. "Shit."

We stay in silence for a good 15 minutes but I start to lost my patience.

I get up and I run to the door with my shoulder first. I did this again and again but the stupid door stay close.

"Stop." Donnie says. "Why?" I ask. "All you'll do is hurt yourself." He answers. He's obviously right. Some blood start running down my shoulder. I sigh as I sit on Donnie side.

Ater an other 10 minutes of silence, Donnie finally broke it."Wait." "What?" I say. "Do you have your T-Phone?" He asks. "Yes." I say. "Call Leo."

I quickly get out my T-Phone and composing Leo numbers.

Leonardo

It's been 1 hour now that I'm in total darkness and I didn't find the force to move. Everything hurts and it's probably a miracle that I'm not pass out. I don't know where my brothers is because I didn't hear them enter in the house since Raph has left for talking with Donnie.

All I want to do right now is get up and get out of this cave. I'm cold and this room is so small that I didn't fell well. I think I'm claustrophobic.

I get all my motivation to get up because I hate this place so much. When I finally get on ny feet, I climb the stairs one by one and when I arrive to the top, I try to open the door but it was lock from outside. "Shit." I say.

Then, I knock hardly on the door. Maybe someone will hear me? Maybe Mikey will wake up? Even if I know that my brother is still passed out , I didn't stop. I don't care if I'm losing my energy, all I want to do is get out.

5 minutes later, I sit in the stairs, tired. I don't want to return downstairs but the stairs are more small than the cave so I decided to return there. When I enter in the cave, I remark something that I didn't see before. An aeration trap was on the top of a wall so maybe a could get there and go away!

I walk to the trap and look around. Even in the darkness, I saw a big desk with a chair. I smile and I went to the desk and I push it, right under the trap. It doesn't look like so but the desk is really heavy and cold. I think itms in metal... Then, I get the cair and I put it on top of the desk. It's high enough for me to get in the trap.

I get on the desk and as I was about to get on the chair when my T-Phone start ringing. I jump out in panick and I fall of the desk. I didn't fall from high but the desk fell on my stomach, living one arm free. Anyway, that's when I got the confirmation that the desk is in metal.

Even with the difficulty to breath, I take out my T-Phone and answering. "H-hello..? *breath*" I say. "Leo! Man I'm glad to hear your voice! You okay? Where are you?!" Raph asks. "*breath* Not... Fine... Down... Stair....*breath* you...?" I ask. "Me and Donnie are lock in the barn. What's wrong bro?!" He says in total panick. "*breath* I-I'm... Stuck... Under... Metal.." I say. "Can you move?" He asks me. "No." I simply say. I hear Raph talking with Donnie about the situation. "Okay Leo listen to me. Donnie is working on a way to get out of there. It isn't supposed to be long. Maybe 15 minutes or more. Can you last that long?" He asks. "Yes." I answer. "Good. Now stay on the phone and if something's wrong, tell us." Raph adds. "*Breath* okay." I say.

As Donnie was working on the barn's door, I push myself with the desk. 10 minutes later, I finally has my second hand free. With all the motivation of the world, I push the desk up and quickly move my feet away from the desk. I'm free! "Raph!" I say. "What?!" He asks. "I'm free!" I say happily. I hear him breath slowly to calm himself. "Nice." He says. "Donnie almost got it so it won't be long." He adds. "Okay." I answer.

5 minute later, I hear a loud noise in the T-Phone. "Guys?! Guys are u okay?!" I aks. "Yeah." Raph says, laughing. "Donnie didn't tell me that his solution was to fire up the door." He adds. "Anyway, come because I don't think I'll stay conscious any longer." I say. "Why?" Raph asks. "I'm claustrophobic and it's been more then 2 hours that I'm alone in this little cave" I explain. "Okay." He simply answers.
