"Can I kiss you?"

"Excuse me?" He looked at me with wide eyes, peering closer to my stupid, panicking self, who decided to smartly burst out that exact moment.

"Um, what I meant is that I signed up to be your manager?" I sheepishly grinned as I crossed my fingers, praying that he didn't hear what I had said.

My grin faltered when his confused face turned into his signature smirk and leaned dangerously close to me, his intoxicating scent drowning my nose as he licked his lips, staring right into my eyes.

"That's wasn't what you told me a few moments ago, darling. Perhaps I should refresh your memory with what you desired?" Taking a step forward, his face was merely inches away from mine, my face red from the sudden change of attitude.

And that was the moment I knew, ladies and gentlemen, that I fucked up, big time.
