Today was the day. I was finally going to tell _____ how I felt about her.
From what all the other guys have said they all like her too. She was amazing in all the fields. She knew how to cut gashes in the titans nape better than anyone, she would help hurt or wounded comrades and she was a wiz in the classroom. Next to Armin she was the smartest.
I think she already knew that every time she walked in the dining hall guys would stare at her. She never talked to them. Only if they asked her a genuine question. 
So that day I made up my mind. I was going to tell her.
She walked into the dining hall with the usual eyes all over her.
I walked over to her.
I coughed to state that I was there.

"Oh., hey Reiner! How are you?" She asked
This caught me off guard. Every guy always talked of her like this stuck up princess and for some reason I believed that.

"Oh I'm fine. What about you,_____?"

"I'm alright. Hey can you answer something for me?" She asked

"Sure,"
She patted the seat next to her. I sat down and realized I was sweating

"Your a guy so.. do you know why no other guys seem to be talking to me?"

This question really through me off.
Did she not realize it.
No she is smart. So why is she asking me?
"Don't you know?" I asked cautiously

"No,"

"You're telling me the smartest cadet next to Armin hasn't figured out why everyone gawkes at her?"

"Yeah, whenever I turn to talk to them or something, some of them they just stay silent."

"Well,.. it's because they like you,"

"Really?"

"Yes really, and why wouldn't they? Your smart, talented and beautiful,"
Why does she seem so shocked by this?
I quickly regretted my decision to say that. Mostly because she was beginning to blush and her hand was close to mine.
Yes I Reiner Braun was scared of a girl touching my hand

"Are you being serious?" She asked still in disbelief.

"Yes_____, why did you never think of that before?"

"I don't know.. I always thought maybe they were jealous. I try not to do so good sometimes." I may have never realized she always put herself down. She never thought she was good at anything.

"Don't do that! They aren't jealous they think your amazing," I tried to speak up.

"Anyway, thanks Reiner!"
She left the hall and went in the direction of the barracks. Right after she left guys started crowding around me.

"Reiner what did she say?"
Most of them asked

"Um... she just asked when training would be over today," I lied

I left everyone and walked out and looked for _____. I looked around and saw her talking to Annie. Walking over to her I began to heat up.
As I got closer I heard what they were talking about.

"I think so. I hear him talking about you to Bertl all  the time," Annie said

"Are you being serious?" ____ asked

Annie replied with something that made me want to never be seen around here again.

"Yes he totally has a crush on you!"

"Ok, I'll believe you," she turned and left with me looking at Annie. I gave her one of my death glares.

"What the heck Annie!?"

"Sorry Reiner she's my friend too. She asked," Annie pointed to where _____ had went to, "go talk to her. Not me, I know you want to,"

I was ready to punch Annie but I knew that she would flip me over again.
Instead I walked over to _____ and smiled.

"Oh! Hey Reiner!"  
Don't ask why when I say I love it when she uses my name.
"Hey ____ I've been meaning to tell you this for a long time now. " she looked at my with curious eyes

"I really like you, and you probably don't care for me but I wanted to let you know,"
I quickly walked away and blush profusely

"Reiner wait,"
She grabbed my wrist and made me stop. 

"I always liked you.. and I never said anything. I'm sorry,"

"Oh _____ don't be sorry. I should be sorry. I was the one that was never open enough," I put my arms around her and hugged her. Eventually I had to squat down to her level since she was so much shorter.

"So does this mean I'm your boyfriend?" I asked.
I was too excited to really hold back from asking that. She was the girl of my dreams, I was kind of out of it.

"Yes Reiner it means your my boyfriend," she brushed her hand through my hair
I purr and hugged her tighter.
