I grew up in Trost but I was extremely introverted.
I stayed away in my room and drew and wrote books and fantasizes about 'stuff'. Stuff meaning I loved reading about urban legends and scary stuff.

I was never considered normal at all.
I decided to join the military so I could see if the titans were really as terrifying as they say. I was aiming for the Survey Corps.

That day I left with my drawing pad, and other cloths and began my training.

That was the first day of training. Shadis was walking around scaring the shit out of trainees. He paused at this one blonde haired boy.
"Who are you magot?!" Be shouted

"Armin Arlert sir!"

"What kind of name is that? Did your parents give it to you?"

"My grandfather did sir!"

"And why are you here?!"

"To serve humanity sir!"

Shadis simply stared at him and continued on the line.

Finally he stopped at me. Fuuuuck.
"And who the fuck are you?!"

"(Y/N) (L/N) SIR!" I shouted keeping a glare on my face.

"WHY ARE YOU HERE?"

"TI SERVE HUMANITY SIR!"

Shadis was about to swipe under my feet but I saw it and jumped up avoiding falling and keeping a salute.

Shadis looked at me in awe and left.

At the end of the day everyone was excused. I got my drawings book and walked to the dining hall. I sat down at a table next to another with three people sitting there. One ravenette girl, a brunette and one blonde one.

I opened my notebook and flipped some pages. I paused at my favorite drawing. Slender man. He was always my favorite urban legend.

Suddenly I felt a presence sitting across from me.

I looked up to see the blonde kid sitting across from me.

"Is that Slender Man?"

He knows what it is?! AWESOMENESS

"Yeah. Why?"

"Nothing but your great at drawing and I really like urban legends. I always imagine the kids I hate getting killed my them."

"Really?! Me too!" My face lit up at the fact someone was as weird as me.

"Were you bullied too?"

"Of course! Do you role play revenge ceremonies?"

"Duh. I'm Armin by the way."

"(Y/N). Wanna be 'friends'"

"Sure."

Next Day

Today trainees were going to learn balance on ODM gear. Once i was hooked up wobbled a bit. But eventually I got the hang of it and started doing little turns and such. Armin was placed next to me and he did pretty good to.
