Today was your first day of training. Well you didn't train everyone stood in the blazing sun for hours waiting while Commander Shadis walked around he shouting at people. He didn't shout at you however. You couldn't help but wonder why.  You never asked. You made a promise to yourself to keep your head down and try to focus on being the best you can in everything. Sure you may have people better but 3rd it 2nd place aren't terrible.
Shadis dismissed you and you walked back to the barracks you were staying in until dinner.

At dinner you sat down near a chocolate brown haired boy and a 2 hued hair boy. At some point they started to bicker.

"Jean don't you think your head is spacious enough?" The brown haired one spat

Your POV

I heard lots of "oooohs" and "get rekt Jean" I guess his name was Jean.
Jean grabbed the chocolate haired one and pushed him against a wall.
I felt Jean had an upper hand. He was bigger and taller.

"Eren!!" I heard a black haired girl scream and run over to the chocolate haired one.
Guess his name is Eren.

Time skip to barracks
Erens POV

At the barracks I noticed some guys had to share with girls and I had to as well. I'm feel sorry for Mikasa that she is in a different cabin but I did get to share a cabin with the (h/c) haired girl from the dining hall. I felt ashamed of how I acted when Jean and I fought. Come to think of it she didn't seem to care. Everyone else was all excited but she seemed to think it was stupid. I decided to go talk to her.
I walked over to her bunk and noticed she was reading.

"So what are you reading?" I asked

"A book duh," she said annoyed

"Well I know that. What's your name? I'm Eren,"

"I'm (f/n) also I know your Eren I heard in the cafeteria,"

"So you were paying attention to that,"

"Yes. How can't I. You two were louder than titan foot falls." 
I shuddered at the word Titan and I also felt offended. She probably never even saw a titan.
"How do you know what Titan foot falls sound like!?"

"I lived in a mountain village not far from where the collosal titan broke the wall,"

Great now I feel bad. I heard those villages were some of the last one to hear the news about them getting in.

"Oh," I said looking down.

Normal POV
You were shocked at Eren. He seemed to know exactly where and what you were talking about.

"Were you from the Shiganshina district too?" You asked

"Yeah. But can we not talk about it?" He asked

"Yeah,yeah sorry" 

"So why do you want to train here?" Eren asked you

"I want to join the Survey Corps. I want to go outside the walls and fly around on 3D Maneuvering Gear!"

Eren was a but surprised about her being so open. Saying stuff like that can get you picked on.
Across the room a voice could be heard

"Oi Eren I see you've got a girlfriend. Does she want to go outside the walls too?"
It was Jean.
You and Eren both blushed at the sound girlfriend.
"She's not my girlfriend and yes she does want to go outside the walls,"

Jean rolled his eyes and looked away.

~Time skip to next day~

The next day you got to train with 3DMG. You were excited a lot. Eren stood next to you the entire time.

"You know you don't have to stand next to me this entire time," you joked

"I know but no one else here thinks like me about leaving these god forsaken walls and you are pretty,"

You were shocked but you still smiled and held Eren's hand in yours

"Thank you at least one person has an idea,"
