Marco x Reader Injury pt.2

"Ok, then hold on," Marco instructed
Tightening you grip on his neck he put an arm around your back. He shot towards one branch after the other. It was hard for Marco since he was only using one side of his gear.
Every so often you would feel your waist seer with pain. You gritted you teeth a closed your eyes tightly.
Finally Marco landed on one branch close to the finish line.

"Want to try from here?" He asked

"Alright!" You said in determination

You aimed towards a branch and pulled the trigger. Flying towards the branch your waist still hurt but after holding Marco it was better.
Once you caught your balance Marco met up with you.

"You go! Cross the finish line first. Get some first aid stuff." He urged

You wanted to tell him to do it because he was the real help but you did what he told you. Shooting out to the finish line you landed but fell on the ground.
Commandent Shadis was waiting on the other side.
"(L/N) what happened?" He asked walking over to you?

"The practice Titan hit my hips and I can't walk properly. Sir" you said saluting

"I see.... Springer go get medical supplies." He shouted to Connie who was not doing it because of a previous injury.

"How did you manage it all the way here," he asked

You were about to answer when Marco came down from the trees.

"It was Marco. He carried me through the forest." You answered
At first you were scared Shadis might get mad at Marco but instead he put a hand to his shoulder and said,
"You did well Bodt. Helping a fallen comrade is a worthy skill,"
Once Connie got back Marco insisted he bandage you up. Marco picked you up bridal style and took you to a bench you could sit on. As Marco bent down to bandage you, you felt yourself blushing profusely. You weren't sure why because deep inside you knew it was extremely awkward.
"Thanks Marco! You really are a savior," you said ruffling his hair.

"Thanks!" He said rapping a huge gauze around your waist.
Standing up Marco smiled at you, making you blush and look at your feet.
"At least that wasn't a real Titan. We could've lost you,"

"Who's we?" You asked

"I mean me. I could have lost you. I don't ever want to leave you _____,"
He began to wrap his arms around you.

"Then don't Marco." You said returning the hug and pulling him in tighter.
